HH Got it - incredibly careful in the language that he used in those answers. Giving nothing away at this stage. No smoke, no mirrors, no snapshot figures. Professional. Nothing for the traders but bodes well for the LTHs.

pikeypete SOLO continues to suffer from NR's Just In Time approach to financing. Mind you, don't think it would need to fall much further to be a good short term trade. That's the trouble with NR though - you tell yourself either that it will be different this time (which it seemingly never is) or you convince yourself that you can trade nimbly enough (which can end up being a bit hit and miss). Anyway, that's SOLO's problem and hopefully no longer LGO's.

It will be very interesting to see how LK presents information. He can only be better than NR. NR tended to use snapshot figures without putting them in context, arguably misleading naive investors. Remember this from the LSE Share Talk interview that NR did about a year ago? "Goudron is inherently a low cost producer and can certainly be made to be economically sustainable at prices of $20/barrel and perhaps lower." Here's hoping that LK is a straight shooter.

LGO-fan Leave NR and/or others around and just watch how the internal debates about the merits of past decisions, as legacy management try to explain and/or excuse what has gone on in the past, pull focus from what needs to be done.

Chesh That Share Talk Q&A will tell you a lot about LK. I remember the last one that NR did (I think it was Share Talk, it was the same format anyway). The answers that he provided have not stood the test of time. Hopefully LK's answers will.

Another way of expressing 37 is 3 + 5 + 4 + 18 + 15 + 19, but of course if you then substitute letters for those numbers you spell out "Cedros". So 15 days until news on Cedros. It's obvious!
