I have no strong feelings about it either way (excluding the ex-CERP assets). The pre-drill excitement trade is an absolute belter though.

The first selling opportunity will be on significant news that causes a significant rise. Certainly no point selling while it creeps up on no news - just gives it a higher base to spring from when news drops.

I love it when a trade comes together. Now imagine this with news. This is not about whether this trajectory is justified as much as it is about its inevitability - folk just can’t help themselves. Even the continuing attempts to put lipstick on the ex-CERP assets are just minor irritations against this background.

Onwards and upwards.

I think macro factors will kick this northwards pretty soon - WTI certainly seems to have the wind in its sails.

Thought this would have made more of a move yesterday, even with the gold price where it is. Maybe today.

“May” because for those who decide to wait for the drill result, nothing is guaranteed. Not that the pre-drill excitement trade is guaranteed either, but it is a great deal less risky and still surprisingly rewarding. WTI is certainly adding value to it right now.
