Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Yes. Similar, but we have something on those guys, 4 properties, not 1, LEX also has an old mine next door to the Jennings Pioneer prospect near Georgia. Barite Hill, 500 yards away. They have mentioned some interesting anomalies from the geophysics on that property too. And yes, Carolina Belle was mined in the early 20th century at grades of 10g/tonne. All to play for, and plenty of risk diversification too here. We're not putting all our eggs into one basket!!! Drilling results in the near future too. Plenty of reasons to buy....
Weakness in last couple of days caused by an e broker account hitting MMs bid 50k at a time almost every hiur. So I am reliably informed. Looks like we're on the way back up again.
Gold in this prospect has always been associated with Sulphides. I can't see any reason for it to be any different this time... The CEO has pretty much said so but isn't really allowed to say what he actually expects. Never mind, the truth will tell. We may get some results next week. As Confucius he say... "May you live in interesting times!". Absolutely!!!
So just looking at last Wednesdays RNS, results shd be due in 2 to three weeks. Yes, the stock popped on that news but has gone to sleep since. So, 1. Gold price is on the way up, 2. The Gnomes of Bangkok are topping up consistently, Pure Ice is, topping up I He maybe a gnome too!! 3. The recent RNS says historically sulphides have been an indicator of gold at JKL, and guess what, we've seen sulphides in EVERY hole!!! 4. Not only that, we're only drilling Loflin, the Jones Keystone property a couple of kms to the north is, waiting for the drill. 5. CEO has has good as said they expect to announce a maiden resource after this drilling campaign, 6. They've acquired the mineral rights to land next door to Loflin, presumably because they are confident the structure steps out from where we are now. 7 The technicals have turned positive.
LEX is crazily cheap, we'll have an announcement with a bit of luck in 9 days and the stock's gone to sleep again... Well, boys and girls, every picture tells a story, and from my perspective, this one is getting more profitable by the day.. What's holding everyone back? Beats me this isn't at 5p already. It will be there soon though.
Breakout fm descending wedge on huge volume today. Rock solid support at 3.0p. Moving averages turning up short term. Gold chart also looking good... Maybe getting ready to get through the stiff resistance over 4p. I like what I see. Almost no stock out there when I checked with my broker earlier..
Looks like the fun and games are under way... I spoke too early earlier...
If you take a look at the RNS recently, it looks like the time scale is a couple of weeks from now. Why this stock isn't going up is beyond me. The major shareholders are all buying. Funds are switching shares into different accounts, the CEO in today's announcement is coming as close as he can to saying that we've struck gold, so much winking and nodding and the donkey refuses to move.. Unreal. In the end, the results will show through.. Only another couple of weeks... Patience is a virtue.
Is it still? Things go up and down... Period..
Yes, that's because the prices you bought at are less than the mid point between bid and offer of MMs.
Delayed prints from margin related sells from spread betting houses like IG markets... I am reliably informed by my broker.. There were more on Monday too.
Quite amazing.. All the major shareholders are buying the hell out of this stock and nothing happens... Maybe all donkeys are blind after all!!! Very odd.... Suppose we're waiting for drilling results.... Ah well, another 2 or 3 weeks.
Yesterday gold completed a double bottom by breaking thru the 1745 level. After consolidation, $1810 next stop.
Methinks there is still some fallout from IG markets stuff. The news yesterday was actually quite positive. Drilling results soon and a pretty strong hint that we are going to get a JORC compliant resource. We are potentially on the way to being a mini Haile!!! Having said that, all the major shareholders have upped their stakes since relisting. What does that tell us?
As I have been known to say, "a nod's as good as a wink to a blind donkey". There's also been a pick up in volume too. The market is soaking it up, or rather some clever people are letting the lunatics in the asylum sell to them at the bottom!! Hang on in there. Not long now.. Buy.....
What you have seen today is the mopping up of the IG markets margin call overhang... Somebody knows that this is a dirt cheap stock... Same as our major shareholders... They ain't idiots these guys..
Well I wasn't expecting that one!!! Great announcement. Missed it yesterday. So we've still got geophysics and drilling results to come out. Looks pretty good to me. More grist to the mill. Funny how buying attracts buying, people buy when everyone else buys. It just needs a simple spark to get things moving. In the meantime, those who follow this thread should be doing the obvious and getting their feet wetter.... Buy buy, not bye bye..
The forced selling that has dumped LEX stock price fro 4+ pence to 3+ is, likely over today as today is the deadline for lining up additial sales. Clients have until today to pay their margin calls.
Hope fully we can look forward to announcements about pleasant subjects such as drilling progress and results, and even the long awaited announcment about the geophysics of our properties..
Here's to better times... and renewed buying interest...
I have heard that labs in North America are very busy with the price metals where they are and work patterns being disrupted by COVID. I'm sure the power that be at LEX are doing what they can, but I reckon a bit of patience is in order... Well done to remind us of the previous drilling results at Loflin...
Well well, the cat is slowly being released from the bag.. They are picking up drilling rights to the north of Loflin, because they suspect that it joins up with the Jones Keystone formation to the north, and from what I saw from the Revolution brochure, that prospect looked like a slam dunk. Interestingly, they are also going south and west. I think we have to ask ourselves the question why?
Well the answer has to be the obvious one, that the structure radiates out in those directions. Also mentioned is the presence of sulphides in the drill cores, yet another good sign of gold continuity where management says they hope to be infilling, in other words, proving up a reserve... Looks like there's gold in tham thar Carolina 'ills miladdies.
Get your buying boots on..
Lyddon has it. The forced sales have no element of choice. If the client can't support the margin call, they are liquidated, simple as that.
Re yr question concerning the buy and sell being guessed, it isn't. Just take a look at my last piece which explains the process very clearly. By the way, if a trade is in the middle of the spread, say 3.5p in my example below, it would be marked as "unknown" rather than as a buy or sell. Simples. Happy trading.
As I mentioned once b4, whether a transaction is marked as a buy or sell is purely down to whether the price of each transaction is priced at below the middle, of the spread or above it. For example, if the spread is 3.25 bid at 3.75, a trade at 3.49 will be marked as a sell. If it was marked at 3.51, it would be marked as a buy.. I often buy ay way belwo the mid point of the spread because I have a bloody good broker who fights for me.
In the ideal world, the benchmark should be, in a "market maker" stock, whether the MM is selling or buying. If the MM is selling, it should be marked as a buy, as the end customer is a buyer. Very simple. The reverse should be true if the MM is buying.
My broker reliably informed me today that yesterday's sharp fall was caused by forced liquidation as a result of a margin call on a heavily leveraged account at IG Markets.
Yes we need some announcement to support the price, but really, management saying they've finished hole number one and started hole number two would be a bit boring. However, we're waiting for geophysical stuff still, and who knows maybe some analysis of what is revealed in the freshly drilled cores.
Pick it up while it's down here. If the drilling results are anywhere near what is expected, you won't see LEX for dust...
