More than likely news on approval.

I remember an AIM BIO share I had a few years ago with a valuation of around £100m that did a placing at a 10% premium to the share price to fund the next stage of their trials, the reaction was quite something, doubled in a couple of days and tripled after a week or so.

There seems to be a struggle between the retail investors here, some believe a placing, some believe a partnership or buyout.

Either way the results so far would indicate that if there was to be a placing, it could easily be at a premium to the current share price.

I’m holding and adding either way.

I’ve always found one of the best times to buy is when some new ( and some old) posters really start to try and push the negative slant on their posts while the price is creeping up with news expected.

Their posting history usually shows a direct correlation of increased negativity in relation to increasing share price.

‘Crusty Pete’ it seems like the frequency of your negative posting has a direct correlation with any increase in the share price.

Weird behaviour, but I suppose that’s what we should expect from anonymous posters?

Walking through the town and the only people that are out celebrating are the benefit claimants and parents that have taken a break from complaining to the council that they deserve a free 9 bedroom house.

Grossly undervalued and while £8 a share is at this stage highly unlikely, 35 to 50p is where we should be at now. And if the news flow continues as it has been recently then possibly £1 to £2 in 12 months imo.

Violindog, I was going to reply to you however I had a quick glance at your posting history.

95% negative posts with the occasional positive thrown in to try and keep some semblance of credibility.

Interesting trading volumes and tight spreads printed over the last few days, looking very likely they are printing chunks of a sizeable buy/s at an agreed price (just below 10)..

Definitely will not be surprised to see a holdings RNS in the next week, as it seems the order is getting close to filled if the gradual increase in the live bid/offer price over the last few days is anything to go by.

Drac, thank you for your polite reply and can’t really fault any of the reasonings in your post.

Drac - I know you have had some horrendous experiences with some other AIM listed companies in the past.

However, with those other companies that you invested in, there were non stop warning signs from both the director’s and brokers behaviour as well as the predictable precisely timed arrival of the same group of posters just before every pump before the inevitable.

I’m sorry you’ve had such a bad experience with your stocks but surely even you should be man enough to admit that you are tarring them all with your own personal brush.

Maybe it’s time you distance yourself from your previous mistakes and move on to more promising pastures ? I’m sure you will be happier for it and never forget that 100% of the population or someone they know will need cancer treatment.

Agreed, the other poster was right to highlight it as it is relevant.

If other very large biotech companies are failing in the areas where we are excelling then while it is a shame for cancer patients worldwide, in no way is it wrong to mention it on this board that it only goes to strengthen scancells position and highlight their outstanding results to date.

Basically A non-executive director (NED) of an AIM-listed company provides independent oversight and strategic guidance without being involved in the day-to-day management.

So they should know what’s going on but not totally excluded from trading depending on their perceived level of knowledge of actual inside information.
