what's the betting that we get an rns saying that we have no idea what's going on? Or is something going on but us punters are not even allowed to glow in the dark yet? Whatever it is, I like others would not be surprised to see it drop back soon.
A few years ago I bought into this lot as a pure gamble that ''something'' might turn up for the best. This was before the AIM suspension and the subsequent return of course. The question then was will the ecoshale system work? It all hinged on that, without the ecoshale system the land is worthless and has been for over 100 years. The question now is very different as the pilot system has been successful, Total are still here with an open purse, and the authorities are begining to grant operating licences to a chosen few. The question now is how long will it take to get through Redleaf's operating programme, how long to seeing 10,000 barrels a day from the full scale module, and how much longer after that will it be before Tomco get a barrel of oil that they can call there own? A long time I would imagine. 5 years? Who knows maybe more. The thing is that the sp now is not much different to when I bought in but the scenario has gone from ''will anything ever happen?'' to '' how long before we get the oil to sales?'' This is a much better scenario and at this price a bit of a gift. Buying into a company that will be producing 10,000 barrels a day at sub 2p a share seems like a no brainer. The rub of course to some extent anyway is still, ''will it happen?'' Seems to me that it will but it will be at least five years?
is a growing trend in the state of texas and some operators are getting fantastic increases in production and predicted oil reserves using this method. Oil pads are utillised for more than one well and rig and drill costs are down substantially. I have no idea if this trend will apply to the MTA acerage or not but it may well be a factor here. If this land is put to this kind of intensive drilling the results could be very good indeed. Just a thought.
Has anyone kept an eye on Soko, how are they doing?
not much chance of this never returning. The way is clear, the money is there, the management are superb, and the assetts are now tangible. This company has developed a rock solid base to kick off from, and will go from strength to strength very rapidly. This much I would have thought is fairly obvious to anyone.
Investors are wary of this scenario. If red leaf fall over we fall over too. The other side of the coin is no different. If Red leaf do well so shall we but in ''spades'' I bought into this years ago as I thought it might just make it. All it had was a tract of land that was a joke. People had been trying to extract oil from shale for just about a hundred years without success. The company all but folded and then like the veritable Pheonix it came back with all this shale estate. We are now in a much clearer situation that in my opinion is comparativly risk free. Total and red leaf are doing all the work while we sit on our asset. The progress has been secretive to say the least and the amount of money invested by total has been significant. The constant push against considerable ''green'' opposition says something to me. It says 'we are going to make this work and we think that we can make money here.' Red leaf are re writing the website as we speak and my guess is that we will soon get a lot more noise from Red leaf and a strong push towards getting this pig to fly. Will it fly.? I think it will and my money is firmly where my mouth is. They have an impressive bopd target, they are eco friendly, they are home grown, and at the moment the shares are going for next to nothing. Get some.
Once the defects are sorted the reserves to hand will be substantial to say the least. It is a good sign as far as I am concerned that the defects are on the table now and we will not be getting any 'nasty' surprises further down the line. GL.
Loooooking Gooooood.
Directors about to bail in?
Delek bailed out ?
YOU are the man for the book who on earth else? Put me down at 3.5p. Thank you.
and I quote........''Texas offers considerable UPFRONT and future VALUE for shareholders''............that's us folks, and if my poor grammar does not let me down it simply means that when we open for business in the near future we shall see a ''considerable'' hike in the sp. Not too sure about the potential bopd on offer here but it really is looking very positive indeed. GL all you patient holders.
Yes indeed a happy new year to all our readers. 4p on opening? Impossible to call really without being given much of an idea as to where the war chest has been emptied. On a much broader scale the purchase and subsequent resale of MTA by Barsky tells its own story. The man wanted to go for it on his own, he bought MTA on the cheap and took plenty of time to get it thouroughly surveyed. In the meantime his 'team' were quite openly looking for other oportunities outside of Russia. Well having decided to sell soko and buy into Texas we are now at the start of this venture. I am sure that this man is no idiot and that his 'Plan A' will see us going onward and upward before too long. 12 months from now [ in my humble opinion ] we will all be smiling. gl.
More dilution/money borrowing and a strong hint that we still have a long way to go. It's difficult to keep your eye on the bigger picture here and a certain amount of faith is required. Buy as many as you can and put them away for another four years. The potential is a world major resource and as such you are not talking penny shares. IMHO of course.
Thanks for that it's very encouraging. I have been with this share a long time before it was suspended. I based my punt on a long term gamble for the kids if nothing else. When it came back fighting after the suspension I bought a lot more and closed the lid. having seen it go from a sheer gamble to a serious proposotion I was curious to see how other investors saw it. It would seem to me that we are tottally dependant on red leaf getting some decent results. That said we have not heard anything about pulling out or shutting down or not economically sound. I am now quite optomistic that this little number is going to survive. If it does it will thrive instantly. Thanks again for your input it was much appreciated.
are there any kind pundits out there who can give me a rough gestamet.? If all this rockets to the 10,000 bopd that they say is the expected target, given the shares in circuit and the rough value of a barrel of good quality oil, then what might we expect the sp to be if we actually got to producing the 10,000 bopd ??? Cheers.
the station, then now is definately the time to get on board. Who knows? Someone does and a strong increase today will underline this speculation that the company is about to blossom. The early rn's talked about a world class rescource being indicated and the slow painful slog of proving that there is a major discovery here is possibly about to happen. If the suggested figures from the early rns's are anywhere near the mark this sp will take off like appollo 13. Get some today. gl
somewhere knows something. And you can take that to the bank. Buy Buy Buy.
the sp was around the 800 850 mark as far as I can remember. In that three years we have seen Banks collapse and flounder as the world ran out of money and confidence. Santander was not on its own when the sp of most banks halved. However the dividend remaind solid and as this wretched recession begins to ease and a bit more confidence creeps back in this sp will get back to the 800 mark very swiftly. Santander have not been stagnant in the last three years they have built onto a solid platform and are poised to move upward and onward as soon as the general climate lifts itself.
