The fact that one of the directors has stumped up a mere £650,000? What does he gain by adding to the millions of shares he already owns? Well we can only assume that he will in fact gain something from it? But as there has been no recent announcement about any potential project, venture or discovery it begs the question 'what if anything is the attraction?'
seems to be an issue as there is no production as yet. Fund raising will no doubt dilute the value, but providing that we get a good result from the planned drilling programme we could see some production in the next 12 months. Rio Tinto are out re the coal licence but might play for other minerals. It has to go from exploration to discovery and production before we will see any major uplift in the sp. Imho based on the positive field reports so far that day is coming. When is the question of course and the signs are there that it may well be in the next 12 months....we shall see. GL.
but.............it will need to do this every day for a fourtnight to get back to where it once was !!!!!
is the name of the game here, always has been. This type of company takes forever to get through the process of sorting out licences, politicians, surveys, logistics etc etc. The fact that we are now beggining to study and evaluate drill cores, and even announce some favourable results that point to even more area analysis, just goes to show how far down the long road to production they have come. A lot of the donkey work is over, production could be a distinct possibility in the next 18 months or so. IF they hit the stuff they will not have any problems finding a good market, and the sp will move to a much higher level overnight. There will be rapid movement rather than a slow steady climb...IMHO of course. GL.
If this upsurge is due to the lab results of the last holes tested then we can expect a rapid rise back to the 8p level imho
This update is at least positive, two holes out of three drilled and another started. Results of this survey will not be long in coming and will have a serious effect on the sp if they prove to be holding the yellow stuff in the right amounts. A lot of homework has already gone into this survey. Time to top up ? GL
Ross and Hugh Warner. Are they brothers or father and son? Either way they managed to get 2 and a half million shares each to add to what can only be described as a fairly substantial holding. The uranium market is here to stay and it may well prove to be the prefered 'power option' by major players. The current licence [no pun intended] area is vast and from what little I have seen of the bore hole test results so far it is an area full of potential. GL.
Interesting reports on what they are up to and some surprising revelations on the Colombian front.
This dog has been top loser on many other occasions, so it is strange to see it as top riser for today. Havn't tried to buy any more, but it might be worth a bit of investigation tomrrow? GL.
without any reason, today alone.
No news no volume.
bought a shed full of shares and that was at a premium price of 2p. They are are now already in profit. Hmmmm. What does all this add up to? I wonder. gl.
You're so right, nearly 50% up in two days???? No news, no RNS no nothing. Something going on but what????
Opened my mouth this morning about the total lack of anything happening and what happens???The sp jumps 30%. No news, no RNS, nothing. More insults tomorrow should se us with a dividend before we know it. GL
Thanks for sharing the info from the celestial throne that is woe-burn managements idea of performing for the shareholders. It is all pie in the sky of course and I would dearly love to be proven wrong but I will not hold my breath. As always with this lot there is a hint of 'Jam tomorrow', where they expect to find 'immiediate cash flow' from I just don't know, unless it's from one of the many global areas mentioned. Seems they have missed the moon as one of their possible targets. Ah well.......let's wait a bit longer hey? GL
your comments are very erudite and interesting, but the one I like the very most, above all others, is the one that says" we could be looking at a £500m resource". I really do like that one. Lol...gl
All is revealed. Strange how we get nothing for months on end and then just before a rns release the sp goes up dramaticaly? How do they do it? Smoke and mirrors I believe. The rns smacks of the old style Black Rock, more dilution and lots of jam tomorrow, so much jam that you will stick fast for days. Couldn't be bothered to read all the hype seen it all before with this crowd.
if WBN is going to do something, at least it will deter the wretched day traders from stalling a genuine rise. If they see fourpence profit they sell sell sell and the sp languises. The company have not uttered a word for over six months and any suggestions for the recent improvement are just speculation, but having said that of course why is it suddenly going north, and is it worth keeping an eye on if only for the time being?
I seem to remember that they put the North Sea block on hold lack of funds or something, and then they wandered off to South America where they found oil but failed miserably to exploit it. If this block has potential things might improve? Lets b well hope so anyway.
