As someone else pointed out, there are many millionaires and a plenty of billionaires in India.

As labour is very cheap, it will be business owners who are more likely to buy these masks in order to keep their workforce from going sick or/and dying from Covid.

These masks will sell, as its far cheaper for big business to buy these masks for their workforce, than it would cost them in loss production.
A Covid killing mask that lasts all day, even at a higher price, say around £4 would not be too expensive.

Most of us don't mind opposite views/opinions to ours, as long as there is at least some attempt to quantify those views/opinions, but due to bland statements by many (the usual from both camps, rampers/de-rampers), my filter box grows by the hour.

I would have thought that any contract between PHE and Peel, would have contained some sort of timeline for either full completion or at least stages completed for the first DMG.

I fully except that any timeline could not be too restrictive, but have sufficient laxity for problems, seen and unseen.

Surely an open ended time period would not have been signed in, as if so PHE would not have sufficient influence as to completion.

Meant market book opening for MM's who often put their opening prices on the book at 0700hrs.

Level 2 is blank for RMS, as I expected, but there is nothing showing for NNN.

You would think that all would be sorted for market opening.

My daughter went on a humanitarian trip to India, several years ago, so fully aware of bureaucratic India, but that does not make our countries situation anything to be proud of.

Good to see the deal/partnership, but what a poor reflection on our own bureaucratic health care system that the same virus killing Pro Lava mask is not fully utilized in the UK.

Whilst I also would have proffered a news release showing advanced progress on the first DMG installation, I am happy seeing planning applications being submitted, the more the merrier.

Such planning applications do not in any way delay actual construction, assembly or installation work, as one is totally separate from the other.

I know timelines have slipped before, but this being a joint statement, (the remainder of 2021), I feel that the next 4 months should be very interesting.
As to still attending the motor show to have a stand not fully manned by sufficient staff to answer all possible questions, that could send a message of 'amateurism', so yes slightly disappointed, but only slightly.

The new re-written def of a closed period as Boffin stated includes (The restrictions on dealing while in possession of unpublished price sensitive information remain( so I was hinting that there should not be anything already known by those inside that is price sensitive about to surface.

But who knows how stretched these definitions can be taken.

I should though have made it clearer.

Always suspicions when board members of one company that that are connected to another company, put such deals in, but a quick look makes me feel this could be a good move, as it almost brings Engsolve inhouse at 48%, for less than £100,00 (is that correct).

Also this will allow PHE to have priority put to any work that is done on PHE's behalf, if of course priority was not already available.

Will be interested in others opinions.

Not a huge buy, but still a buy showing that the company is not in a closed period.

I also remember that article, but I think producing hydrogen from the siemens system is many years away.

As to available land, there are many such acres on the siemens side of Hedon Road Hull, with even more spare land the nearer you get to the massive Saltend Chemical Terminal.

The Government has recently announced that millions of pounds are to be invested in Hull re renewable energy as a big part of the countries efforts to reduce carbon emissions.

Siemens has developed hugely in Hull over the last few years and their premises on Alexandra Dock is set to expand even more to accommodate the manufacture of the ever increasing size of turbine blades.

I mention Siemens as there is plenty of undeveloped land almost next to Siemens premises, so PHE would make a good fit, especially as like many cities, waste disposal is causing such a huge problem that there is a scramble for disposal/re-cycling of said waste. Hull with its ports has also be declared a 'green port' so no doubt other new businesses should be attracted to the area.

Also the last 2 (could be 3) planning permissions for waste disposal have been refused due to objections as to smell, pollution and noise.

My understanding of a DMG unit is little noise/pollution and the far less smell as main waste (the usual waste that can not be re-cycled, or used in a DMG) would obviously not be an issue.

Then of course is the main benefit of a DMS, a local power source that could supply not just Siemens, but all the other businesses than are situated in the same dock area.

There is also one of the biggest tyre dumps in Europe on the south bank.

No doubt Peel are aware of these opportunities, lets just hope they get on with expanding the rollout of PHE's DMG's.

Once that initial DMG is up and working, who knows how quickly things will move, lets just hope progress picks up a pace

If we all end up making money, I think you might end up being kept in beer for several years.

For goodness sake, its like kids in a playground.

If I compile a post that someone disagrees with, then I will argue/put my point across a couple of times, then I just agree to disagree.
Otherwise even posters that I take more notice of than most, end up crowding themselves out as I and I am sure most other, get to the stage where the 'yes you are, no your not' posts become so off putting, those posters are ignored.

Often this is a shame, as then when they have something interesting to say, we bypass those posts that may have valid info that could benefit us all.
