I am concerned with the amount of posters who come on here to run salt in wounds, it really is quite worrying how many people get satisfaction out of it. I’ve never even posted on a bb I’m not invested in never mind gloated opal other people’s loss’s. Do yourself a favour and take a good look at yourself and think about when the day comes and you get caught out, because it will.

So what happens to ARCM short?

Surely that wouldn’t matter to us? They obviously see upside to recoup their loss’s and we still get the same remainding 5.45%? Is this what you mean?

I didn’t think it would be worth that immediately but I would love to be wrong, again! I’m fairly confident it we have to convert to at least 25p per share to start with and then I would say there is definitely room for growth to 50p region in time with better oil price? I’m more confident now than I was anyway.

Lol devon I’ve told you I won’t be touching anything else, stop trying to tempt me. I bought another 55k shares today taking more total to over 200k and that is it for me, I will just hold and hope, that’s all I can do.

Out of curiosity Devon, have you ever taken a look at jadestome petroleum? And if you have what are your thoughts?

Have to say I’ve completely changed my mind on this tonight as I’ve dug a bit deeper, I don’t think this deal is as bad as I first thought. I agree with Jen, I really think 50p is a possibility within 18months and $50 + oil

What is Aker bp mcap? I keep seeing different figures, either that or I’m converting it wrong

I have nowhere near the level of knowledge that posters like you or Jenifer appear to have and I’m starting to think I was out of my depth here. I don’t mind admitting that, but then also we have been very unlucky with timing/creditors/terrible leadership imo, maybe the best would still get caught out.
I’ll take it as a lesson, as I believe that’s what life is full of, repeat the same mistakes and you keep getting the same results so hopefully we will get back to 25+ so I can recover some loss’s and I will bow out gracefully. Hope everyone makes their money back(or some of) I’ll be sitting tight now as I do see 25p short term.

Devon play, I don’t lose sleep over this mess mate, I’m still only 30 and have a beautiful family and I can make good money on a week to week basis to provide for them. It sure set me back a year or two but as long as my girls are happy and healthy I won’t complain to much. As for investing, I did well out of rock rose but lost all and more in pmo, I won’t be touching any shares again after witnessing first hand the insider fiddles that go on here.

Yep noticed there low production costs, but if I’m honest, I’m swaying more to saying yes to this after now. Not over the moon about it but I do agree that with oil back at $50-60 there is room for growth!

Their ebitda for H1 2020 was 1B with say an average of $40 a barrel? We should be achieving at least 3b a year going forward tax free?

So at a quick look at our supposedly comparison company Aker Bp.
The production is running at record highs at 210kboepd (usually sub 200)
We will be running at 250kbiepd comfortably,nearer 275kboeod for a few years yet.
Aker bp look to have a net debt of 3.7 and total committed of over 7!?

2020 capex of 1.3 B
2020 exploration 350m
2020 Abex 200m

Have I got these figures correct because to me even our combined group looks a whole lot healthier than this and should easily demand a 5B mcap?

Assets would be sold off for a lot less and creditors would be worse off? It would be in their interest to throw us a few more scraps for a yes vote would it not? Or not
