Johan it’s highly unlikely this will ever see anywhere near £1 again as we now(or soon will) only own 5% of the enlarged company.
In my opinion 50p could be possible with $60 oil but we just don’t know oils future or what value the market will apply to the enlarged co because of that.

Good, I genuinely hope There is more to follow for ARCM they deserve a bigger fine than that. If anyone has any good advice going forward from solicitors or citizens advice I would really appreciate any guidance.

Yep I do agree, but we have been well and truly shafted by creditors and our CEO so unless another bid comes in, beggars can be choosers.
Another bid would back up what we are all thinking and if apache and others see value they will make a move, for that possibility alone I see this as a buy with a lot more upside than downside.

I do think we can expect north of that MRD, the size of the debt along with the tax relief is so manageable even at current oil price. Take a look at Aker BP debt pile and allocated capex going forward, I’m no accountant but I would rather our balance sheet than theirs. Who knows, I’m certainly not a professional otherwise I wouldn’t be sat on a 40k loss, but I’m staying optimistic.

Random user, No one knows what the market will value the equity at yet. We can only use comparisons to similar company’s. We are all in the same boat of being a bit unsure of what the market will value us at. I personally think it will be around 20-25p but I could be wrong. One things for certain is I won’t be selling around these levels.

Gladiator of course there is, you have to ask yourself if you have no interest in a company would you spend all day 7 days a week repeatedly spouting negativity.

Noone is ecstatic with this deal but we are becoming part of a group with huge backers for future growth, and yes our assets are the fresher of the portfolio and will even used to offset decline but it sounds like we will be developing the likes of zama ourselves now which we couldn’t have done before hand. Debt will not be an issue within a few years when oil returns to $50.
This new company can easily command a mcap of £10B within 12-18 months with the right environment, that leaves us with the equivalent off £550M in equity around 60p.
Short term target 25p for me, longer term 50.

Thanks for that buzz, and I agree with you and slift.I’m more optimistic about this deal now,The only thing that worry’s me is I don’t believe a word PMO come out with anymore after all the lies of late but I hope that was just The uncertainty out of their control. Onwards and upwards from here!
