Well GL, it shows that gas in the ground (in the UK) is not worth anything and the rapid development of renewable sources is the priority.

I don't know for certain if Tanzania will go down this route, but they have many sources of renewables. It may explain their reluctance to start building the pipeline.

I see 480 billion cubic metres of gas has just been discovered in Lincolnshire.

As you are probably aware, there has been political and scientific opposition to developing the Rosebank field on environmental grounds although I suspect this will ultimately go ahead. Will Ruvuma go ahead ? I simply don't know.
