Aminex was always high-risk because of the sector, but it seemed then that it was a risk worth taking.

It had income (not much as I recall) but at least it was operating as a going concern.

Appeared to be reasonably well-managed, and of course back then it didn't have a record of the previous few years of over-promise and under delivery.
