Everyone here seems to think that the SP is determined by pipeline, rig contract etc.

And of course, actual pipeline construction and a signed rig contract would be a positive development.

What you all seem to be missing is that the SP will be determined by the profitability of the gas (and concentrate and oil if there is any) when sold on the market place. Prosciutto is right to draw attention to the wider picture.

Maybe though, everyone here is not looking at the long-term, and simply hoping for a bubble or spike and looking to offload the lot ?

I do accept that I was relieved to see a Chinese company had been appointed to build the pipeline.

But want I want is to see verifiable evidence of work starting !

I'd be surprised if the SP rises from here without it.

July was supposed to be the start of the pipeline construction, and the rig contract was meant to be let mid-August.

This fund is volatile but a hold for sure. I'm not buying but I already have a significant holding. I have recently bought three emerging markets funds, at least one of which pays a decent dividend.
