£235. All-time high I believe...

Well ATT is heading UP and SP now approaching the all-time high of 551.

Composure regained and the recent good run means that the all-time high is in sight.

Helped somewhat by a narrowing of the NAV discount.

Onwards and upwards !

If Warren Buffett said that, he certainly didn't practice what he preached. Berkshire Hathaway was a hugely diversified conglomerate.

Andrew Carnegie was an industrialist from a poor Scottish background who made a fortune in the steel industry in the US in the late 19th century.

He then proceeded to give it all away to charities and promote world peace.

The Dow Jones consisted of 12 industrials at that time, and even if he did say that, it would not be relevant today. He certainly wouldn't have been thinking of tiddlers like Aminex !

Each to their own I guess, but a lot of eggs in one basket is not my investment strategy.
