Penguin, my own opinion was maybe DM was too loud. Bragging how much you are going to make in Tanzania when the country is trying to maximise and retain as much of its own resources as possible is probably politically unwise. Maybe nothing to do with it, but if on discovery, you then have to negotiate a development licence, they will want their share if the cake.

You reiterate my point crusty by still seeking to talk to me like I'm in short trousers. Neither myself or many other long term investors need to be told there is a risk.

With the amount of money some of these guys have invested, I would hardly think they are stupid.

Of course there will always be a few gamblers, but most I suggest are in the day traders and rinse and repeater groups.

As for rainbow chasers you often speak of, I'm guessing they are not investing the sort of sums that you have here, but fair play to them. Everybody dreams of getting lucky one day. The football pools and the lottery wouldn't exist without those dreams.

Interesting theories. Certainly Minch was highly confident this would be the discovery drill. Something must have got him that excited to be shouting from the roof tops.

I'm sure there are those that got spiked and initially I did too, but I'm not in that position because I believe in the project and the set up, I kept buying and still will and when some news comes worth ramping, (I prefer the term promoting), then I'll do my bit. After all, I'm here to make a profit, not a loss.

The happy clappy brigade as you call them haven't been discredited at all. Timings may have been wrong, but the future isn't.

Those who are here for the long term investment have been correct all along as I believe you know that from being present at the agm. What they have believed in all along is about to come to fruition, so they weren't wrong and their faith is soon to be paid off.

What you refer to is maybe those who ramp one day and bash the next under different IDs and we know there have been plenty of those here don't we. That is why the majority of long term investors ignore this board now.

Its all noise here with one spoiler deliberately crushing any hope of decent conversation and discussion, he/she has been at it for years without once attempting a grown up discussion.

Nobody has to agree on everything, but if you are happy with his behavior while you yourself constantly attacked another for doing the opposite; when you show one more leniency than the other, what can I say 🙄

With the announcement of the drill already running yesterday morning and knowing they were inly 100mtrs from TD I am anticipating news tomorrow. They did say it would be during this week and 100mtrs should be a breeze for a black & decker

The civils are due to be finished by then , so a crew announcement can't be far away. A team must be in place to move and set up the rig ready for spud at month end.

A picture speaks a thousands words and there will be nothing better than seeing the rig arriving and tye drill turning. It brings words to life!

Certainly not my reading of the confidence shown at the AGM, but obviously a shock to the system on first reading.

It looks poorly written to me and a misinterpretation of what was said.

1. Highly likely it has the date wrong for Ntyora as the pipeline budget has been signed off for this financial year already.

2. It could be referring to the completion of the expansion project being announced.

Or just a false alarm.
