You may be right Crusty but perhaps you are thinking from a market point of view; whereas a marketeer sees good PR is being done by drip feeding into whatever market a product is being sold too.
In our case Aminex shares.
Anyway, whichever it is, it would be nice for it to come soon.
News not immediate enough for big new money it seems. More of a hand holding reassurance. We need the licence with some boots on ground schedule to continue the push, but that could still come as early as Monday
Yes, now at 1.45 again.
Rojos friend premature as usual
Ā£2.37? that should get you a packet of smarties from the tuck shop. After your behaviour last night I'm surprised you are still on this board let alone allowed to post.
1.45 current but yes they have kept the spread on this wide over the last week or so. 14% at 1.3 - 1.5
Watch out for buying Monday onwards. They said they will update when production has started. Approx 14 days, but I suggest they will know if they are successful with the drill itself over this weekend. They only have a 100mtrs to drill and started Wednesday.
We finally have a PR company that knows what it is doing. Drip feeding the market to create awareness prior to the big news.
Advertisers do it every day as do governments when they want you to swallow their polices. Repetitive indoctrination!
This is the build up and it would be no surprise if the licence is announced on Monday

Always welcome
Now more reassurance has come along in RNS firm where as a result of the meeting.....
"during a recent operations meeting in Muscat, Oman with ARA Petroleum Tanzania (APT) and Aminex, the Tanzania Petroleum Development Corporation (TPDC) updated the joint venture partners on its progress to construct a pipeline spur from Ntorya to the Madimba gas processing plant (the Pipeline)"
It's time for some serious confidence to build here
Yes SC we eventually established all that thanks
Exactly Bruiser. People need to understand the process and let it walk before it runs
More digging on the date. This is the updated page. https://arapetroleum.com/2024/05/09/. It indicates published today.
As asked why would it be held back three weeks? Fingers crossed news is about to land afterall.
Our friend Stockcheque I assume found it today. It may have been published a while, I don't know.
Ufufuo has just contacted me, more pigs ear. š. "energy minister gave the speech confirming the license on the 16th of April". So the visit was afterwards but as you say Tom still positive
Pigs ear day.... 22nd 24th April
After reading the article again I am beginning to think I and others may have read this as if it is today's event.
Digging further after a comment on Telegram, this event actually took place sometime between 24th to 27th April which could well have been the visit that gained the cabinet approval recently announced.
So I retract my previous comment on the photoshoot being lined up ready to go, that may still be for another day.
At least an RNS is still due any time now
I doubt there will be a clearer message than this before an RNS. When the big wigs travel they don't just drop in for a cup of tea and a slice of cake. For Tanzania, this could well be the biggest thing in their history and they will all want to be in on the ceremony.
My money is on Monday but it could come tomorrow.
All the indications are now in place as are the dignitaries required for the photoshoot. Party time in Oman š„³. Good luck everyone our party soon after š„³
Been out all day. If home in time I might get a top up
Is one thing rojo at least you get to tick up yourself on a regular basis.
That was how one tick Mick got his name š
As for sp. Blue will do
