Now I have seen that last one I realized just how big this 3D area is as it spreads out way to the west of where I thought it ended as per the last Google earth map. Strangely though the triangular area does actually exist on that Google earth map whereas here it doesn't. When looking at the maps last week from the AGM this now makes more geographical sense. It truly is enormous.

Tanzania is ramping up the news and when they start flowing they do tend to flow.

As parliament has been dissolved ready for the next election we can expect a big promotional push.

With so much news to come in the short order my view is that while locking in profits at this time won't do people any harm, I do think it is severely premature. Upwards is the trajectory here now and that will continue throughout the year as more and more progress comes to light. Ok it may not be a straight line but there will be some gentle rises and some steep rises along the way.

I don't see steep falls now unless it is manipulated by the high rollers using their millions as influence.

I think in his own words crusty has more or less let us know that he would rather we don't see any large rises over the next six months while he attempts to gain on other things he feels could return more in the time period. It is of course his money and his risk. Will he make more there than he might lose here? That balance in investment, we have to choose for ourselves.

That is only their 12 month target but I agree I think they fall well short of where will be with so much going during that period.

By then we will have 3 wells in or ready for production and with valuable condensate not even taken account of in their report which alone has been forecast to raise the company value by 15 to 20%

With so many catalysts along the way I expect by the time Chikumbi-1 is drilled we will be well ahead of their figures.

Drilling is the main thing that attracts the hoards. What we have so far has reassured the long-term holders and brought in investors who are willing to research and see the value.

If you are reading that commissioning means the contractor award then you are getting mixed up.

The joint venture (JV) partners aim to supply Ntorya’s gas to Tanzania’s domestic market, contributing to the reduction of energy poverty and supporting the country’s energy transition.

Aminex executive chairman Charles Santos stated: “We are delighted to receive confirmation of the award of the EPC contract for construction of the Ntorya to Madimba pipeline. This is a major milestone, reflecting the commitment of the Tanzanian government to progress the project, and follows the signing of a gas sales agreement, the award of the development licence that locks the project in for 25 years, and the update of a field development plan with upgraded production figures – all in the past 18 months.

China Petroleum Pipeline and the China Petroleum Technology & Development Corporation have been awarded a contract by the Tanzania Petroleum Development Corporation (TPDC) to construct a new gas pipeline.

The companies will provide engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) services for the proposed gas pipeline, which will connect the onshore Ntorya gas field to the Madimba gas processing plant in Tanzania.

The Ntorya development licence area is strategically located near large liquefied natural gas (LNG) projects stretching from offshore Tanzania to Mozambique.
