?? er...don't think so scmdcyp.
If you mean this post - The placing price is at 0.1p. Why would it drop a further 90%?
Don't see it jumping 400% though either. If it does then what would you do if you held those 2 BILLION new shares? Quick and easy profit me thinks. Double your money and sell them at .2p. All depends if they're in sticky hands or not. -
- then I think you should start taking some more English comprehension classes.
Fwiw I think this could go up in double quick time or...it could crash and burn. Now there's a prediction for you. sound like that chartist bloke Zak mir?
Oh well, I seem to be the only person dwelling here with any interest at all. Loads of big sells on no news. Another cash shell going down the pan?
Why do you post statements that are so contrary to the truth?
Good buying pressure - there have been about 10 buys in the last half hour. Put your finger up in the air and see which way the wind is blowing. I can tell you for nothing where the wind is coming from though....
Give it up scmdcyp. This ain't going nowhere no matter how many times you post to the contrary.
Only thing that will get this up is news of Lars resigning or a significant contract or two with figures to back it up. Lots of bs comms put out by the company in the last month. It needs to be in an RNS to carry any weight.
Ell, I didn't think this would come out of suspension even so the first step has already been +
They've appointed two new Directors. They recently put in a social media message...'we cannot wait to share even more announcements with you in the coming weeks' I assume that was meant to get people excited? they've got £2m now to pay all the Directors so let's hope they do some work and get this back on track.
They can be discounted even more than that.
CPX, just before it was suspended, did a placing diluting share holders by 66% and at a discount of 80%. And that was after the sp dropped by over 95% in the previous six months.
I'd rather accept the dilution/discount though than Cheek takes all retail holders out of the equation altogether! It's now squeaky bum time here.
I thought Ross in the presentation looked about as cold and stiff as any human being I've ever seen that is still alive and kicking. He may be a taciturn kind of character but he made as little effort as he could possibly get away with and had nothing positive to say. Maybe one doesn't want a finance officer to be full of 'possibilities' and 'maybe's but he didn't inspire confidence that's for sure.
Cheek just has to do something soon.
Big sells earlier point to someone in-the-know selling off before another placing is my guess.
Get another placing out of he way now and that would pave the way clear for hopefully the rest of this year. After a placing there would, with luck, only be good news to look forward to from that point on.
?? They announced 'good news' yesterday. The sp is in the red today. I just hope Cheek is waiting for something positive from NICE and will raise on the back of a much bigger spike than we say yesterday. He could have done one a couple of weeks ago when the sp rose to over 9p. Why didn't he?
'with no company income'
Slacker, read some of the recent RNSs there are clues contained within that will show this statement is 100% incorrect. They now earn £250k every six months, which is up from £50k in the six months previous to that. Sales are going in the right direction. Slowly. The next six months might also be double or triple the £250k
Personally I would rather take any amount of dilution than see this go private and lose everything.
If they raised £5m at 3p then I stand a chance of getting my investment back. I want to Cheek to take what ever funding he can get at what ever price rather than consider leaving us all high and dry. What would you prefer?
Come on Lionel, you're one of the more reasonable posters on this bb. You must see that this is both good and bad news. Good in that finally the process will start soon to gain approval from the FDA. Bad in that GDR still don't have the funding to embark on the clinical trials and the fact that FDA approval is most likely two years away.
GDR won't be around that long I fear. Cheek and Gilham will have no alternative to take the company private and shaft all existing retail share holders.
Every time i think there might be a chink of light for GDR the door is slammed shut by the market reaction to any news put out. If' it's good the sp drops a bit. If it's bad the sp tanks.
'No way this is going below 1p'
Oh dear. How much lower now it's breached 1p? If £1.2m has gotta be churned then it's going to take ages. Only £11k bought today so far, or as of 15 mins ago.
Massive - you'd better get topping up lots now.
'We cannot wait to share even more announcements with you in the coming weeks.'
Now might be a good time to start sharing some of the exciting 'announcements'....lol
Think I did warn people that all the messaging from the company out on social media platforms can be outright lies. they can retract anything. That's why they didn't and haven't said anything positive in an RNS. Sooo clever.
Mickey 'Relax any moment day now then the Rerate comes'
How's that going then?
And this from the company itself 'we cannot wait to share even more announcements with you in the coming weeks'
i bet they can't. Perhaps 'thanks for keeping the lights on recently but we're going private with the recent funder and you've lost everything. Byeeee'
EOTB - at least they are being honest about it.
Earlier this week GST released a positive corporate update which saw the sp out of the traps. the very next day they announced a big placing. Admittedly at not that much of a discount but the usual forward selling shenanigans had all happened by that point. People bought in and found themselves with a 40% loss with in hours of investing.
Unless there is very positive news from NICE public consultation tomorrow or early next week then I too think this will be taken private. The market is showing Cheek and his pals Gino and Russ what they think of the rate of progress so far. At this rate they will have to go back to RF for another drawdown but...has the US pharma partner insisted they don't do that and find money elsewhere? Who knows. What is clear is that they either can't raise any money via the usual routes or they don't want to just yet for some reason. I am convinced the RNS yesterday was to try and cause a spike in the sp and get a raise away at a higher price. Unfortunately as many have already posted, it just doesn't work these days for a CEO to say things are great and we're about to do a raise and dilute your investment and expect an upturn in sentiment.
One thing that keeps lurking at the back of my mind though is...if I were the entity offering to fund GDR then I would want to do it at the lowest possible price in the knowledge that rather than forward selling and making a 30/40/50% profit in a wekk that I would likely make a profit of 500% if I hold for just another two or three months and wait for the expected NICE news of FULL recommendation of CYP2C19.
This is the problem with AIM CEOs as far as i can tell, absolutely none of them are open and honest and now there is almost zero trust form the market in any comms put out. It's causing long term damage to the LSE too and AIM I think is in danger of being wound up altogether if the FCA continues to allow AIM Directors to financially rape retail investors the way it currently does.
