Interest rate rise means those on variable rates get hit be they compainies or individuals, so less money in the system to spend or invest, less demand for products sales down profits down simple however there are sectors tha t gain one are Banks because they make more with the lending borrowing margin!

I had it covered as it dived with a sell order but then cashed it in thinking it couldn't dive much more and had to reopen a short again which i again cashed in not believing such a dive but it has been stuck at his level for quite some time. Amazed at such a downward movement and in fact i cannot explain why such a downward movement?!

i bought in the £13's several months back and messed my hedge up when it crashed and lost a fair chunk.
