The pricing system is messed up all producers regardless of carbon or renewables get paid the highest producers tariff so regardless of the following :-
uk 26% carbon energy; 75% renewables which are 9 times cheaper than the carbon energy producers get paid at the carbon tariff!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

eg carbon producer's ie gas tariff is 10 say the renewables get paid 10 and not 1 despot renewables producing 75% of our energy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The system should be weighted ie 10=0.25+ 1*0.75=3.25 and not 10 which is what the consumer has to pay
Now i know their is a cfd contract for difference in the mix which i think goes to the government?! The market is shafting the consumer big time!
