Hi, Been off LSE boards for ages but keep checking in on a few shares to see how they are going (or not!).. SOLO still one of my big holdings and never doubted its technical potential. Like all LTHs I was bricking it when Tanz government went rogue on the miners but all seems to be resolving itself now. News on Ned deal great in terms of diversification and overall growth potential. I've done my calculations and I reckon ignoring the chaotic tremors at the bell, this will to all intents and purposes open about 3.4p and rise towards at least 7.2p by end of year for you table. That's allowing for c.18m of funds to be raised at about 2.25p so things could be much better or a tad worse. Either way a resulting market cap of c£60m is still very cheap as we got that just on NT-2 alone. I'll happily take some more shares! With secured production and funds in place I expect this to head towards £120m mkcp in time whatever that equates to as a semi-diluted share price. Fingers crossed for at least 12p+ if not much more by spring and spud of C-1. Nice to see lots of positivity, RD.
A long time since I posted anything here or anywhere for that matter, but just to say I think this is ripe for a rise if they can get ops underway on C-1 well. Looks like cogs are beginning to turn again here after a long wait so I'm now part of the 1m SOLO club again..money where my mouth is and all that.. next 6 months should be fun if not extremely profitable! Fingers crossed RD
Hi, I've been a lurker here of recent times but you can count my current 925k shares i your total if you need them. Good to see a boost and something spiking on AEX. Bring on the 17p days again..RD.
Actions speak louder than words..well maybe..is there anybody thereeeeeee....echooo.....anyway, I just dipped in for another decent chunk (13:43)..why not?... at this price there's an awful lot of headroom to rise before the MCap looks silly like some other crowd favourites. Sure, it might dip a bit more but good risk reward balance. Three sources of news, Tanz, Helium and HH. I'm willing to gamble one of those will sprout something positive in Q2 if not all three. Though jaded, I still remember when solo last shot up from a standing start to practically 5 bag.. It is just one of those shares..utter misery 99% of time then blast off... glory to the brave and patient! Fingers crossed we're due another spurt...RD
Hi guys, I'm still here too.. feels like things might have turned a corner with Leed. They have a decent chunk of the block business which I would hope is now turning a profit. I'd like to see an announcement on progress before the trade date on Asset Match but for now I'm just holding tight on the hope we'll either get bought out for cash by an Aussie or relist. If things are going well this should provide a platform to get investment in and reawaken Leed as a going concern with plenty of upside after a few torrid years. RD.
Gone, 3 Months to go...tops...(well roughly anyway)..Due Diligence is, as I understand from fairly recent comms I've had, still on-going so just a matter of sitting it out. I'm pretty confident this will pick up with a fresh start. I think CHZ and the gang are doing this the right way which makes a change for LDP given their predecessors legacy. Plenty of upside if we can demonstrate we are a serious investment vehicle and CL can improve their margins. In my experience, companies that have done this successfully usually rise quite quickly 3x to 5x panicked pre-suspension price within a few weeks of re-opening on day trading then retrace back for a while before they begin to grow more sustainably at a slower rate back to same levels as traders get bored. Fingers crossed the deal goes through and we get something meaningful back for our patience. It is obviously impossible (and ridiculous) to predict a price accurately given all the unknowns, but assuming no PI trouncing/consolidation deal etc etc, I can realistically see this making 0.12p on enterprise value if we get a levered deal and good news stream on revenues before retracing back to a favourite 0.06p! Anything is better than zilch! To quote Eric Idle.."always look on the bright side of life!" RD
Since they have a list on their website of key employees I'm guessing one will vanish if not vanished already from the list...without wishing to cast dispersions on the good guys, there are some that look in a better positions than others to raid the piggy bank. Just depends whether it was back handers with buyers or direct off-take from the coffers. Either way, let's hope this demonstrates good due diligence and the rooting out of any rotten wood prior to us assuming a more responsible role in operating the company. RD.
Still hanging around my average...I know we bemoan LDP from their terrible historical performance but I'm still very optimistic this worm might turn into something a bit more appetising. If we can see Cultural revenues begin to lift off we will be in the box seat at low entry point. Plenty of money out there with the venture groups and still wouldn't rule out LDP being used as a shell for something more substantial. Would hope to see this back to a steady 0.08-0.12p around Q2/3 once our likely quarterly revenue stream can be established (assuming we confirm intention to convert into High Manor soon rather than just regular coupon payments for 2 yrs). RD.
Keep selling me your shares...at this rate I will have to go public! Avg. sub 0.05p on a chunky holding so even a twitch on this and I'll be reaping the reward. Let's face it..this is a terrible share but at such a low valuation it is easy for quite a sudden move up and not that much room downwards barring bankruptcy which seems unlikely. I'll give CL a year to become profitable...RD
Hmm..I have just over half the shares held by PGMM but at half the price..I feel "well aligned" as they say and hopeful of some reward for my ongoing backing of LDP's ultra-high risk not that obvious reward strategy!!! As Tank says PGMM must have some confidence in the rate of return and must see scope for the price to at least double if not triple in short-medium term. Hopefully we can get some new small, medium and large investors in here. With genuine hope of meaningful growth, companies like this can just take-off and create positive feedback loops to bring in cash and assets. It is cold and frosty here but hope springs eternal LDP have turned the worm (or whatever the phrase is!). RD
Cheers..its all a bit tumbleweeds on here but I think they have made a better informed investment here than many might think. Manas probably is a dud now but that is well and truly priced in. I'm still hopeful LDP might be able to act as a shell for something more exciting once they can demonstrate profitability and sustainability of the company on AIM etc. 18 months ago they couldn't get finance from a loan shark but things might be different now if Cultural turns a profit. Sentiment is everything. It might take 24 months to double our cash but the knowledge we are on that path should be enough to stimulate some early buy ins. I've topped up a few now and again at 0.05p since its unlikely to dip much below that on current news flow and foreseeable events. Just need the spread to shrink before small traders will look at this in terms to generate real volume of dealing. RD
Think a few folks (fools like me!) have cottoned on to there being potential for a nice little news flow from LDP now their molds are presumably up and running. Yes the CLN are not that spectacular and just tide us over but if Cultural secures some big orders we can convert CLNs and get a decent share of the profits. Remember they already turnover A$1.5m a month so revenues are good. The new blocks should increase profits on that baseline revenue, so 20% profit on growing $1.5m-2.5m turnover per month so up to $500k to the group p/m. We have access to at least 10% of that so could double our cash within 12-24 months. That's a pretty impressive return which might attract further backing and the dead-looking LDP train might start chugging back up the slope from whence it once slid! It aint gonna be fast but it could be solid. GLA, RD
Still looking reasonable if a little shy.. just need to get some big players to tighten that aching chasm of a spread..Anyone tuned into the source of next news? guessing drilling is ongoing so sure to be something to chew on between now and May..RD
Hi, Now that we are into the permitting stage there should be a fairly smooth rise for some time, although on a weekly basis it will pop and drop witin the range 9-13p without news.. If the results are OK or better, I could see us making 13-17p without much effort involved. RD
we've just stopped haemorraging?..I half expected news on assaying but perhaps delayed for a few days while Africa sorts itself out. Probably little benefit to be had from releasing good news on a bad days trading.. GLA RD
Dont have to mean anything in the AIMs, but big buys separated by lots of smaller sells.. thats a pretty encouraging sign in my book as the buyers with serious money are starting to appear.. each buy generating its own little tree shake. I interpet this as a sure sign there probably aren't many shares about in the market so any hint of good news on the drilling could see this rise surprisingly rapidly as greater buying pressure is increased. Just a question of holding on in there as the MMs start looking for cheap shares ahead of the news. Good luck to the ORMs RD
Greetings, those with immeasuarble patience will remember me and shodanos being cautiously optimistic when this was around 5p having bought in around 5-7p only to see it wither somewhat.. noone really bothered writing anything for months but we were right to hold.. This was always on a par if better than BEM. BEM just ballooned as soon as I sold out with ONLY 100% profit! d'oh. Little did I realise these transformations can be so rapid!.. This is not actually much slower on fundamentals and does have plenty of legs. Investing now is sure to bring a profit, it just depends how long you wait and how much you want... for me its taken 18 months to double which is not that bad given it spent about 12 of those months falling off the radar!!I'm pretty sure you wont get less than 25 to 30p in another 18 months and 50p is not at all unreasonable once production begins. Me, I'm holding firm.GLA & of course DYOR, RD
...maybe I was being too cautious before! I suppose on the face of it this does have the resource potential to BEM your world as exiting this recession is def the time for minnows to bloom-the annual production is looking impressive even in a minimum case for Barruecopardo alone and I start to see some broad comparisons with JPL sat at 30+p without production.. Still cursing the Beowulf for being so good so early when I let it get away from mr so I'm sticking here till the cows come home!! Incidentally, VOG still patiently awaiting a big upward surge on news of a production licence if anyones looking for January's candidate overnight two bagger..Please dont forget to DYOR & GLA RD
Not sure what to make of this week..I see the obvious hope of "all back to normal"...but I also see a hesitant but nevertheless steepening decline which began before the recent issues....strong mid week droop makes me think we're not finished yet. SO, do I buy back in for a long term rise or or follow my intuition and sit it out while the shorters chew it down to the low £2s..I think we're safe from the ash for a while, but I doubt that the impact of all the customers charging outrageous expenses on to the companies has been taken into account? Could be worse than the cancelled flights or am I just being too pessimistic?Do anyone smart suited folks reading this have any idea if the airlines will get any help to cover those extra costs and the sort of numbers we are dealing with here just to provide some reality to our musings?RD
Hi, new to this particular board but good to see a range of views expressed. I'd been in BA for some time but have to say being a qualified geo I sold out like a wimpish coward last week when this started to get serious. Basaltic eruptions rarely come and go in a few days, ignore history at your peril and all that good advice. I think things will stabilise and everything will look rosy for a few days once the Atlantic systems kick in and blow the ash away, but I have to add a huge buyers beware to enthusiastic newcomers because in my humble opinion, this only has one direction in the medium term due to constant downward pressure, decreasing confidence and prospect of on off cancellations all summer. Rightly or wrongly its certainly messing up my own travel arrangements good and proper!!! GLA, and hope things settle down soon for all our sakes. RD
