The best we can hope for is a market valuation for remainco (THG) closer to its competitors.

However that probably relies on an improvement in the Nutrition division performance - Rev currently down 13% in Q3 after being down 10.9% in H1 despite his assurance that things were improving? That now requires MM relinquishing his role as CEO or at least a complete change in senior management team? Matt’s rebrand that started in Q4. 23 has been an unmitigated disaster. The Beauty division is also under performing its peers but to a lesser extent.

I have held an ADVFN account for decades.

I feared a capital raise after the HI announcement.

It was either a capital raise or a sale but we all know Matt didn’t want to sell.

Matt’s game is still being played out and as yet I am not sure how it ends?

No multi identities and yes I certainly substantially reduced my position before the trading update as I mentioned on here.

But I am a long term holder and will consider increasing my position again.

Looking at what’s happened post the H1 update for once I made the right call.

At the moment Mr Market is either not convinced by the benefits of the proposal or just horrified by the Q3 numbers?

We are already trading below the capital raise price and it doesn’t come into effect until Tuesday 15th - In theory that should be the price low?

But who knows?

Possibly an academic exercise but they will have to lay out the full details of the final proposal. That’s what’s missing at the moment.

Yes he defended his management exactly as he did on the September conference call.

But the analysts clearly aren’t buying his excuses anymore.

Listen I hope things improve but the analysts have clearly had enough excuses.

I have listened to 1000s of conference conference call but this was the worst by some margin.

Remainco is reliant on MyProtein performing.

Anything is possible before it is approved by shareholders.

I am currently more concerned with the analysts reaction to the Trading Statement.

It certainly wasn’t good on the conference call.

That conference call hasn’t been posted on the Investors pages on their website - It usually is posted by now.

But I realise that this concern isn’t shared with some other investors on this BB.

The demerger hasn’t even been approved by shareholders and no documentation other than Thursday's brief RNS has been issued by the company.

So far just a Retail Offer/Fundraise by THG.

Make your own mind up but the share price isn’t being manipulated it’s falling for a reason.

New co has gone or is going in Dec.

On the call yesterday an analyst asked whether MyProtein’s decline is structural as sales move from Online to Offline on lower volumes (measured) and certainly lower margins (for THG)?

Matt obviously didn’t answer the question but the analysts certainly take that view.

Let’s hope Beauty have a blowout Christmas.
