Yes, I think I'm in the same camp as you regarding the odds.
I am just a little concerned I got in a bit late with the share price.
However, i have some spare investment capital and I like a unique player on the LSE, so I'm I shall most likely be in this week :D
Hi all,
Considering a stake here. I see this as very high risk, like all of the prospecting. I have been hit hard in the past with the elongated RNS announcements with some operations, regular fund raising, and share price diluted to sub price levels.
However with very few competitors, if anyone is going to be successful, hopefully it'll be these guys.
Still digesting that document that someone kindly shared on here, but it seems there's a 20% chance of success, from this snippet:
"HE1 sees around a 20% geological chance
of success"
So I read that as a 1 in 5 chance of them finding helium. From my position, it's a punt.
That said I am keen! Has anyone else had any good experiences of prospecting stocks? Whilst I admit that most investing is ultimately a gamble, a good product and sound business decisions invariably lead to growth. Prospecting is a different ball game!
As I said I'm keen on investing, so am also keen on discussing and sharing other people's views and any research they've uncovered :)
Thanks!
Let's hope so!!
The question is, will AGM be able to profit. I certainly hope so!!
Hello,New investor here. Moved my holdings from another mining operation with very poor shareholder relations and treatment. Examining the historic RNSs here, it is a breath of fresh air and looks to be a fantastic company with excellent prospects :)
As with all penny stocks it's a huge gamble and realistically can go anywhere.
One way of looking at it: we've just been fleeced, the cash will disappear into the vortex and we'll never get our money back.
Another: the cash raise will enable re investment and by the next financial statement we'll have great news.
Take your pick!
Well, BOD is nothing like CLCO, neither in industry nor financial statements. Not looked at BOD before, but a quick look at their financial reports suggests to me very poor performance .
Sorry you've been hit hard and yes I would be bitter so I understand. I am confident this will improve but obviously you can come back in a few months or a year's time and tell me you told me so.
Dyor
I recently averaged down my share cost after falling victim to the initial hype several years ago, back when it was clearly over valued. These recent RNSs are very positive and I'm looking forward to what the company will achieve over the next 6 months.
Hi Diggitt,
Newcomer here who has already profited from the sub price. Just to say I really value your levelled opinion here, it's easy for us newcomers to be all positive and bullish, but it's a good reminder to hear from the LTHers. Please keep posting if you can
I'm an LTH holder here, really not expecting this to ramp up magically because of some secret seller, unless there is an interim financial update showing profits and some kind of potential revenue forecast.
I shall wait patiently until January for some positive news and in the meantime jump in from time to time as users watch the micro sub penny shift in more detail than me :D
I've seen very few cases of sub 1p stocks turning around, so IMO this is a longer hold punt (one which I'm involved with before anyone shouts me down).
I would at least like to see this rise closer to 1p by year's end, but this will need some positive RNS IMO with some financial updates for that to happen.
