I'm actually out now. I attempted some conversations with the company and was ignored. Didn't like that, felt mugged off. So I sold and moved my holding elsewhere.

I've seen mention on other boards of people naysaying today's rise, that we've seen similar uplifts before only to be let down by the seller.

Well, anything is possible, but one thing worth noting is that we had a similar spike around February 2020. And then what happened? blasted Rona for in the way. I really think the last 12 months are a one-off. What I'm saying is hopefully this uplift will be the genuine increase that will kickstart things.

Of course, time will tell. But I hope this is the uplift we've all been waiting for.

We have been above 3p since the TR1, we have positive momentum taking place. We just need to hold out for a few months and see where we go.

I'm trying to find a similar listed competitor in a similar financial position with a more accurate share price but it's tricky. They Range from sub 1p to 300+p. Crazy.

Maybe this additional holder can give some clout to influence a stop to all this selling (if unrelated)

What I don't understand is how you can have a 3p share price with a profitable company that is guaranteed to grow, yet you have a company like HE1 who are at the prospecting stage and who core a 1 in 5 chance of success reaching 8p (although I suspect that will drop at some point).

I'm an LTH here along with the rest and I feel positive. But something is amiss at present, and it seems this big holder / seller is simply buying and selling for a quick buck every day, at our expense.

If I could afford to suck up the sellers shares I would, but alas :p

Relatively new shareholder here but already can see the complete lack of shareholder updates and comms. Plans for 2021? Interim status update?

Yes could be.

I'm holding off buying more for now until we get an update from the company on direction, plans and finances.

Given historic lack of comms with shareholders, it may be sometime before I next hit the buy button here :D

I'm not sure how I feel about this, even if carbon capture works, IMO it seems counterproductive to continue drilling for oil, knowing it causes issues.

Inevitably, within the next 10 or 20 years, oil will be a a has-been in favour of renewable energy.

But it's here to stay until then IMO

Just to add, in four years the GOP may come back into power and instantly remove all of Biden's hard work pushing for clean energy.

It really is a crazy time over the pond. I'd hate to live there tbh. Mind you the polarisation of society isn't too dissimilar here, without getting into politics :)

This is a good question and has been on my mind also. I'm not in any way certain, however I guess if I thought the oil price would tank, I'd be out of here as soon as it went above 3p. Alas, all the experts are forecasting the oil price to go up.

My guess is the lack of oil sentiment in USA will in the short term (1-3 years) rise the oil price but may cause a drop in next ten years or so. Ivan work with that.

Of course, who knows what will happen. At anytime there can be a game changer to change EVERYTHING. But a lot of industries still rely on oil. Not just auto. Lubrication, power, processing, so many things.

It's the reason that really perplexes me. And who would want it to be held back.

That's a shame about the PR. Companies with proactive outreach and engagement with shareholders tend to do better from my experience.

The only thing I would say is, why would the SP be purposefully kept low? I can't say I really understand the reasons, perhaps I haven't spent enough time learning about SP manipulation. I've not really come across an issue like this before with a stock, generally speaking the SP follows the path of growth and interest/demand. I guess what I'm trying to understand is, why would it be kept low on purpose - I don't really understand who would benefit.

Yes, actually rinse and repeat was what I was thinking, I can't see how a singlr seller would be able to offload so much without a TR1.

In any case, one would think that even with such selling going on, we should still see a price rise on more news and positive financial reports. Supply and demand and all things being equal.
