Climaximo seem to be on our side to helkp with the removal of fossil fuels-which I am.
Extract from their website "There is a scientific and social consensus that stopping the climate crisis is the current priority. Yet the education system, judicial, legislative and social institutions and the media continue to act as if we are not facing humanity's greatest challenge. People need to be told the truth so that we can make informed and realistic decisions. All decisions, debates and news must be based on the current climate crisis."-exactly - so let us help getting rid of ICE cars in Europe!
Just watched the presentation. Items of interest to me :-News of partnering process likely March April. European funding sounds real. There is a plan. B if these don't happen. Some of the potential new licenses are of interest and work for Sav. The mine starts delivering product in about 29 months . A lot of locals like him.
I've read a lot about hydrogen, it seems it may prove useful in some large scale trucks, and energy storage where there is excess wind/solar. As previously mentioned, it's not going to replace EV's and they will eventually split (my view) into smaller journeys-Sodium batteries, longer journeys (most cars) Lithium battery chemistry. It's getting better and better each year, the Lithium SAV supplies will go into batteries doing about 5+miles per kilowatt.
SAV should benefit on the journey to a predicted cheap energy future ,within 10-15 years , very interesting talk by Tony Seba to a Middle East audience a few weeks ago . https://youtu.be/7eJKTYc_v-I?si=wbD9hNfYWni3ncWm
This is a pretty decent summary of where we are in the world with the demand for Lithium. It's happening, slowly but very surely.

Think it was Warren Buffet who said something like " be greedy when others are fearful and fearful when others are greedy " I'm pretty sure people are just a bit 'confused' with SAV at the moment - I've a lot of my investment here and understand the transition to green energy, the part that cars and Lithium batteries will play . SAV are doing all ( most of ) the right things . Very happy to wait for the mine to operate . Then the rewards will come !
From all I have read, there are far too many problems with Hydrogen- ie, making it(too expensive and not 'green'), distributing (can't use existing gas network-too 'leaky' for light Hydrogen), energy density ( nowhere near as energy dense as gas) all meaning apart from some static uses for surplus energy storage and for a few niche uses, Hydrogen will not play a big part in our green energy future
Dale emphasised the criteria for offtake discussions " when Savannah is in a position to proceed
to finalise commercial arrangements, which we expect to do next year, we will be pushing hard to secure
deals which meet our criteria including working with a partner or partners committed to using Savannah’s
product within the European battery value chain, willing to talk about pricing levels in line with reported
spot prices at the time, and prepared to contribute significantly towards the CAPEX of our Project as part
of the offtake’s financial arrangements" cash should just be enough, with maybe a bit of external funding.
Battery power is the link to utilise cheap energy from Solar and Wind power. Electric vehicles are clearly part of the mix to utilise that low cost 'green' energy. Innovations, brought ever quicker with the WWW. connectivity will continue that process. One example is the 1000 mile battery powered car. -https://www.anl.gov/article/new-design-for-lithiumair-battery-could-offer-much-longer-driving-range-compared-with-the-lithiumion . In about 10 years the world will see a massive shift as it gets used to clean, cheap energy. Transport (and some fixed battery storage) will be using Lithium for years to come.
If anyone is in doubt about the critical nature of Lithium in the supply chain, watch Tesla's 2023 Investor presentation. (all 4 hours !)

If you don't want to , one key part was Elon Musk (at about 3 hrs 12 mins in) advising any Entrepreneur to get into Lithium refining as a guarantee of success, "no-brainer" , he said. They also said that their own Lithium refinery will be operational on the gulf of Mexico to take from suppliers. Easy delivery across the Atlantic for SAV?
Sigma Lithium (who are ahead of SAV in the production phase already) are using a dry tailings system in their recent mine. I also think I heard the CEO on a recent podcast saying they were reworking the tailings? Creating even more Lithium, due to prices this has become more valuable and now worth the effort. Not sure what SAV will do at the moment? https://www.sigmalithiumresources.com/esg/
I hope Dale has a few of these on order, would be handy for the Green Credentials .

Many people now have solar panels , we do and for 4 months of the year-that would power our 2 vehicles and the house-for the rest of the year-wind and other producers will soon do all the rest. 10 years ago wind produced 5% of our needs-now it's 25% and growing fast (Norway is 50%). Wind works really well with storage and electric car batteries made of --er --Lithium!
Apologies for not being clearer-I nwas agreeing with you and adding that IMHO the research had been completed with the assistance of Artificial Intelligence with the aim of garnering email addresses for Motley Fool. Just an opinion, could be wrong .
