What cheek ICL has when you consider before planning consent they said there was no demand for the product. Still all the advertising they are doing can only be good for us when we enter the marketplace. Must not hold any grudges eh.

When you look at all the hard work done before submission of the plans and then any objections overcome before final approval. I say very well done to all staff concerned and the project really does deserve to succeed.

Would be a bit boring if we didn't have a bit of speculation every now and then.

With the demise of the JPM deal I have often thought if in some small way it might have suited SXX in as much as I think they said other people were interested. I have never been involved in high finance but I wonder how much influence or involvement JPM will have in current negotiations?

Myo sorry for my rant but it just feels like everyone wants a slice of our pie to eventually profit from but wont put their hands in their pockets to support the build.

Myo all these links that we have nurtured over the years with large and respected companies yet I like many others are massively down. How has CF allowed us to end up in this perilous situation? He is after all a finance guy and I would never have believed he would lead us here. Just well miffed off I suppose and the thought that us supportive LTH holders could be diluted to oblivion doesn't bear thinking about. Rant over.

Celtic I have sold 10% of my holding which pays for me to visit our granddaughter for a few days later this month. I hold the rest in the blind faith that CF will come up with something. I was wondering what the reasons were for your friend selling. Just out of interest.

Just received a reply from my MP Mike Amesbury. Jesse Norman says she recognises the local and national potential but also the requirement to keep taxpayers money safe. She says they engaged with Sirius but Sirius later decided to pursue an alternative financial proposal. Again did CF pursue the right road? I really don't understand why we are where we are.

I intend to remain positive in thinking CF has a plan B or C. But at the back of my mind I do wonder if CF went down the wrong route to get finance. Having said that I cannot back up my doubts as he is far cleverer than me and he too has a lot to lose. Just thinking out load really.

Fred I have to admit I have been a salt monkey to date. But I bet I am like a few on here having bought too many shares when I was trying to average down. My average is somewhere just under 25p. I bought quite a few at 15p so I will for the first time consider de-risking sometime when it goes above that price. But it is difficult.
