@Ocelot, has blasting now stopped or does it continue?

To be fair we have only just started sampling - 11 tonnes out of a potential of 500 plus the waste tips - we know the gold is sporadic in nature plus we still have nearly 30% of GROC - Gold is forecast to continue its rise…. Still too early to call here… That said it’s disappointing there’s been no news on coins auction, it’s as if Alba enjoys torturing its shareholders, we need good PR & gold that’s all GF & the share price will rise!

@ocelot, just because they cleared the sweepings doesn’t mean they have to process them at great cost - store them for later….

We need gold, money & confidence!

What I don’t understand is knowing the share price, sentiment & financials are poor why didn’t the company prioritise the high gold targets (why sift through floor sweepings for 1g per tonne, just sit on them for now & go where the vein is)….

Anybody any ideas?

If only somebody with deep pockets would buy us out - we’ve been raised to oblivion..

@jeremiah - also I think people are surprised the processing m/c has been upgraded meaning quicker turnaround times plus there’s the easy 3g per tonne from waste trench between any blasting etc

Why don’t Alba prioritise the rock thats most likely to contain gold instead of floor sweepings & background stuff - we need confidence & money…..

Seems like market thinks we’ve hit the bottom let’s hope it’s onwards & upwards now eh - wouldn’t be surprised to get RNS tomorrow on medals.

@iluvsushi - To be fair it’s 1g per tonne of just 11 tonnes of background soil - Clogau fetches a premium partly because it’s rare & hard to source - let’s remain open minded until the target area is hit eh….

Could do with some of Ocelots or ScotAlbas positivity now….

@Drivermike - historically they are up to about 300g per tonne but agreed we just don’t know & neither does GF…. Surprised they’ve only processed 11tonnes mind…. I’m assuming it will now speed up with the upgraded m/c….

So the background gold is basically the same as the waste tips, got to get through it/process it though to know when we’ve hit a load - the main loads could be 100-300g per ton but still we wait - I think GF needs to do a video!

Good the m/c has been upgraded but I’m assuming we are about to get another RNS regards the coins?

@jaffa - let’s hope so eh coz with those grades we are laughing & a many multiple rerate would occur….

@Jaffa, are you suggesting 17g per tonne is background gold & reserves could be much higher - even 17g is 8.5Kg of total gold?

Ocelot those figures would be astronomical (& may be accurate on hitting a gold vein) but they are allegedly going to give an average across the 500 tonnes…

So what are we thinking regards gold quantity from this 500 tons - the waste tips were 1g per ton.

@JSP123, we will see what the Clogau premium is, historically jewellery with Clogau gold has fetched a x10 premium but spot gold is far higher today so I’m not expecting as much of a premium now… double, quadruple, time will tell! GLA

@Ocelot, in which case these coins/medals should come with a guarantee that no more of this particular coin will ever be made - collectors need to know how rare they are to be…

One would hope GF would bid more than 15K for 1 coin…. GLA

My shares are predominantly in an ISA account & so tax free unless this corrupt government changes the rules - surprised they haven’t taxed physical gold yet….

I’ve just bought 10million more, hoping for good news & attempting to average down (still need multiples rise from here) - just wished GF would reassure the markets - if he announces umpteen Kg of gold the market will rerate… I’ll buy more when funds allow to continue averaging down at these low ball prices - everything crossed! GLA
