It feels surreal so many people will be glued to the screen at 7am tomorrow who by an large have not met, live on various parts of this planet and yet all have the same connection to this bio company. I've stated before, I suspect I have been invested here longer than most and not as long as some (15yrs approx) . I don't claim to fully understand the science and all that goes with running a bio company and the hurdles that entails, but what has always struck about Sclp unlike some others they keep a tight ship, loose lips etc. So with that in mind I would like to wish all you fellow investors good luck tomorrow and like you I shall be looking at the red dot and in my opinion Sclp will do its best for both patient and investor alike.
“If you can really get good inflammation and good, targeted T cells in these tumours, you can just make [the tumours] disappear,” says Durrant. I've read the article and reread it WOW ! To say "you can just make the tumours disappear" is simply wonderful ! If Lindy and her team are able to achieve such a feat surely Prof Ottenmeiser's comment about a Noble prize is not too far of the mark.Feet firmly on the ground we are not there yet but it doesn't harm to dream GLA !
Chester....... we could be on the cusp of something very special here, the mind boggles at times. Its a struggle to comprehend the enormity of what is being suggested regarding Moditope alone. Trying to keep my feet firmly on the ground......gla
I agree 2cvguy ........I guess Scancell could politely ask patient x not too share the results for a period of time, but I just cant see them doing so. A really emotive position to find oneself in for all involved.
Wow.......what an emotive piece to read and written in the ladies own words. I've read why some are arguing for the post to be removed and I partly agree. I then thought if the article to be true and I have no doubt it is,I also would be singing from the rooftops given my circumstance's.If the Modi trial is doing as stated and unless Sclp request patients do not reveal further info or are not told I can only see more of these stories coming to light...... I'll finish how I started WOW
I agree with crumbs post......yes a disappointing reaction to 2 stellar RNS's ! For both the LTH and those recently invested, I believe we are witnessing the transformation of the company and you have the advantage of understanding the science thanks to many informed posters . It may take the markets and other Bio's time to catch up on what could be the much needed breakthrough in the science against cancer, but catch up it will. All of us now have the opportunity to act upon what we have read in those RNS's and with the info supplied chart one's course accordingly. AIMHO

What is partial response in cancer?
A partial response or partial remission means the cancer partly responded to treatment, but still did not go away. A partial response is most often defined as at least a 50% reduction in measurable tumor.
Although some other clinics suggest that 30% upwards is a PR so I would say Bermuda has it about right. IMHO
