Bezant has a mining license

It has purchased a processing plant

What's in the ground is high grade copper

Getting it out of the ground will be cheap.

CapEx will be paid back in a couple of months. From then on the cash flow will stonking.

Chairman reckons that in the short term the SP will be 0.24-0.28

We await the finance partner to complete due diligence which may be this month, and then it's shovels in the ground.

I had a good Santa Rally, sold Filtronic and African Pioneer at a profit just before prices fell and took advantage of a pump and dump on Monday to take profits on Wishbone Gold.

The booty has been deposited in the Bezant piggy bank.

Judging by the way the market makers are mucking about with the ask, I suspect they're holding this back while they replenish their stocks.

They won't be getting any of my holding unless they improve what's on the bid.

Quite a few chunky buys today. All looks good as far as I'm concerned.

Pump and dump brigade got hold of it. Happens a lot with speculative shares when you're waiting for news.

I don't know who organises these things. I just wish they'd tell me beforehand.

The people who got stiffed were the ones who bought at the top of the spike and then had the rug pulled out from under them.

For long term holders it's a bit of hope which is then dashed. In the wider context of the share it means nothing.

Bezant was £25 a share in August 1995.

The highest close was £54 about a year later.

By April 2000 it was down to £20. From there the drop was brutal.

At one point Simon Thompson in the Investors Chronicle was pushing it when it was around 23p a share, but he eventually gave up. Perhaps he could take another look.

One of the things that changed my scepticism about Bezant, is that a mine could be up and running.

CapEx can be repaid quickly which will give a healthy looking free cash flow figure. Conventional investors just love free cash flow.

With the price of copper soaring we need to be digging the stuff up. Hopefully the finance will be sorted soon and we re-rate.
