- The majors may be buying each other, but they aren't interested in the juniors.

- The price of copper is way down from its peak in May.

- China is the biggest consumer of copper. It's economy is down the pan.

- The great EV revolution isn't happening at anything like the required pace.

- The incoming US President doesn't give a shiny one about net zero, even if his bessie mate owns an electric car company.

- He's also got China in his crosshairs, potentially worsening the position there.

The anticipated massive demand for copper hasn't materialised. That may change but it won't happen in the short term.

I take no pleasure in writing this. I've wasted my money like the rest of you. But it's time to face facts and give up on this crock, just like the individual who's dumping 50 million shares every week.

That started today with a 50 million sell just after 10:30 which wasn't reported until later. There are two other sells of the same size, and others on the larger than usual.

This is now down 25% in a month, despite all the ramping.

Those are the facts. If anyone doesn't like them they're free to post elsewhere.

Prickly - the trades at 0.0322 shown as sells are definitely buys. I tried a dummy buy and that's the price I was offered.

Earlier in the day I couldn't get a price for a sell online.
