Prickly makes a good case for investing in Bezant. If you were new to the company and not aware of the share price history, you'd think it worth a shot.
But Colin Bird has a dismal record of failing to deliver share holder value with numerous companies and over an extended time period. It's not a surprise that the market is sceptical.
We were told that the mining license would light the blue touch paper. That was six months ago and the SP is lower than it was then.
Then it was the ECC that would do the trick. It's been over three weeks since that was announced (in the most cack handed way possible) and still we're a laggard. So much for being ready to roll.
I too, was a holder in Sylvania Platinum. It seemed like it would never take off. But then it did and paid off handsomely. But that was a company mining PGM cheaply and sitting on a huge pile of cash. Bezant is altogether more speculative (although it too has the potential to mine cheaply, at least in the early stages.)
Overall, I'm minded to be positive, after having my doubts, but I don't blame anyone for impatience. With more media savvy management the share price would be a lot higher than it is.
