Transition Impact
ETI score:67
sition Impact is derived from Green quality. The Project includes investments in energy efficiency improvements and a replacement of Ammonium Nitrate production capacity with fewer air emissions compared to existing. The capital expenditures are expected to fully contribute to the green economy transition (GET), thus resulting in overall Loan GET share of 85%. These investments will enable the Borrower to achieve significant environmental and operational benefits, including the reduction of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, improved water usage, and lower air emissions of ammonium nitrate dust and ammonia (NHi). Additionally, the energy efficiency measures will contribute to a decrease in overall energy consumption, enhancing sustainability while optimizing production processes. As part of this investment, COi emissions will be reduced by 8,200 t/year, contributing to a lower carbon footprint. Additionally, water consumption will be cut by 2,000,000 m3 and particulate matter (PM) emissions will be reduced by 5 t/year.
