I meant to add in my previous msg. Some of those taking shares as payment are external suppliers who have a choice. Now would you do work for a company and be paid in shares if it has no future. Some on this board clearly think they would. Good luck on that one.
Gas found in recent drill, let’s wait for results of tests. This is a gas play after all. Good luck all, well most.
Seems staff and suppliers are still happy to be paid in shares. Now would you work for a company that paid you in shares that was going to fold? Maybe they know something others don’t. Good luck all. Looking forward to test results and plans for further drilling.
Interesting to see we have not seen the volume of shares being sold as some on this board would have hoped.
A question. Can anybody give any indication of what volume of gas this well can produce at with present infrastructure ?
I’ve read the RNS a few times and I’m not convinced this is as bad as some might hope on this board. Neither do the general share holders.
Even though the lunatics as Patpil calls them are doing their level best.
Piscator 1. Thank you. I completely agree, sadly I’m not sure it will change some of the comments on this board but it’s good to get this off our chest. Interestingly I do believe the number of shares in sticky hands has increased by a fraction. Seems like you and I, some people do see the value in bloc. Good luck.
Sounds like they are entering the pay zone.
Landingpoint. First point in a horizontal well trajectory where the inclination reaches 90º. Usually an intermediate casing is set at this landing point to isolate the pay zone.
Looks like they are making good progress. One thing to keep in mind is, that over 62% of shares are in sticky hands. This has not changed in some time and does not take into account of those that hold shares but do not on the register. What does that tell us?
Good luck all.
Rocklaw. I have to say, once filtered I don't get the senseless garbage any longer. Hopefully others will do the same as we may get more good debate and information from intelligent posters. These individuals are just sadly searching for attention or wish to render the board ineffective. I feel positive about my investment here. Having been here from the begining I see a company with a very good future developing, it will however take time and there are risks in my view.
grower69, A word advice which goes against everything i usually stand for as I'm a strong believer in open speech. Put Sarah on filter. This individual adds nothing. The board would be much better with good constructive debate. Sadly all the good debate , be it positive or negative has left this board because of posters like Sarah. I have asked her numerous questions and never had a sensible response and so I filtered her. There are others that seek attention, generally if they don't back their opinion up with facts then in my view they are just background noise. Good luck all.
Sieveco, there are lots here that keep referring to the RFS in 2019 but that was 2019 and we are soon to be in 2023. I think you’d agree a lot has changed in that time and Block is certainly not the same company. So if that is the basis to your investment decision I think you’re misguided. Or are you trying to save us all from ourselves?
Anybody who expected this to be a gusher should read the RNSs in more depth. This drill has delivered results (maybe not to everyone’s liking) but it shows there is oil to be found and in a very cost effective way. This well will fund the next drills and if just 50% are successful we could have 6-8 wells producing a total of 3-4 hundred barrels a day. All self funded. It keeps the wolf from the door and allows the other projects to proceed in parallel. I think people forget Bloc is about gas, oil just helps pay the bills. Good luck all.
Just done a check of significant share holders, total still at 62% . That’s only those over 3% ownership and directors. This hasn’t changed for a while. There will be others holding through other organisations. Take from that what you like. ??
After some weeks of trying to understand Sarah’s position I finally filtered the individual, not something I do lightly but the board makes so much more sense now. Good luck investors, things are coming together in a good way.
Excellent news in my view , this is exactly what Block should be doing in areas of their non key fields where they would struggle to meet work targets. I do not understand why anybody would see this as a negative . Good luck all.
