With 1.7p and 2.1p dividends respectively giving around a 4% yield, plus heaps of lovely recurring income, imo it's just a matter of time before the share price recovers assuming the news remains as good as it has to date. Especially if there are further acquisitions from the cash pile.

An 84k buy has just been reported and things are looking interesting online. Earlier was pretty even-steven, but now you can only buy 35k maximum at the full 5.5p, whilst you can sell 50k at a premium at 5.31p.

Fair point rob229. It doesn't particularly concern me, but it's not something we'll be able to fully analyse until we see the year end figures to confirm it's just a half-year glitch. I note the following nicely bullish comment this morning from AIP's trading RNS: "the Private Jet division delivering strong performance across US and UK" AIP have warned given the poor performance of their Commercial division, but the strong Private Jet performance should once again reflect well on HGR8. I took the plunge and bought some of the American shares. At $3.80 or so they cost me around 220p each. I expect the pound to fall against the dollar in the future from $1.71, so there's a double positive whammy and some downside protection even if the share price falls. At that price the m/cap is £10.8m, yet at 31st March AKR had £7.5m cash and a further $1m of net receivables/payables. If the Americans latch on to the fundamentals here AKR could be a big winner imho.

WH Ireland have updated as follows, with a Buy and a 6.5p target - I suspect this may be increased following the interims: "Belgravium Technologies*# (BVM) – Buy – Trading update Market Cap £5.1m Price 5p Target 6.5p Belgravium has this morning released a solid update for the six months to 30 June, pointing to the fact that trading has been ‘satisfactory’ and in line with management’s expectations during the period. Due to the usual seasonal patterns seen by Belgravium, the year is expected to be weighted towards H2 but management are encouraged by the level of order enquiries being seen, along with anticipated conversion rates. Following the update, we make no change to our forecasts (WHI FY 2014E PBT £0.7m, EPS 0.66p). After the aborted bid approach earlier this month, we view this morning’s update positively. I've bought some BVM this morning following today's positive trading statement. It sounds rather exciting to me now. For a £5.2m m/cap, one gets a company with £1.9m cash and forecast by WH Ireland to make £0.7m PBT and 0.66p EPS this year, followed by 0.8p EPS next year. There's also a 0.2p dividend, i.e a 3.7% yield. The £3.3m EV looks pretty good against those figures. BVM made the Feedback acquisition mid last year, and it seems to be bedding in nicely, so we may even get a further acquisition from the cash pile. And trading appears to be on the up, especially the airline SkyPOS solution. It's not difficult to see a 10p share price based on 0.8p EPS with the accompanying cash pile. Not bad against the current 5.2p share price.

Today's update is extremely encouraging. IMO Brady is undervalued and may well see another leg upwards after a long hiatus. Worth noting that XLM is now on a single-figure current year P/E net of cash. XLM's EV is £55m, being the £90m m/cap less £35m of cash. This plays roughly £6m of PAT after minority interests (at $1.70, which may well improve to XLM's benefit imo). That's a P/E of only 9.2. And with a 3.6% divi yield on a 1.7p dividend. For next year, on £7.5m PAT, the P/E ex-cash falls to 7.3. With a 4.5% divi yield on a 2.1p divi.

In the context of £29m operating profit last year, another $5.1m of PBT from this acquisition makes this actually a rather large acquisition, adding another 10% to headline profits at a stroke - and probably somewhat more since the $5.1m represents 2013 figures.
