I bought back in this morning having taken profits at a slightly higher level a while ago. Even at 160p the P/E would only be 12 against 13.7p EPS forecast for the current year (to 30/9/17). The 4p divi for the year just gone and the 6.3p divi for this year make WJG even more attractive, together with the extremely high earnings visibility going forward. There is obviously a seller out there, but then he's been there for some time now and should be starting to run out of stock. There are some 40k or so shares available to buy online, but I suspect that there will be a sharp re-rating once this disappears.

The CEO has certainly committed himself to making future capital gains on his shares. Nice 10k buy at 90p just now. Online I can only buy a maximum 2,500 at 90p, whilst I can sell 15,000 at a big premium at 88.68p. Looks good.

Here's Astles' web site FYI: Http://www.astles.co.uk/240_about/ They note that "Exports have grown to account for 70% of ACS's turnover", so presumably this year's and future figures should benefit nicely from increased sales in terms of sterling at lower current exchange rates.

Finncap have increased their target price to 20p. They've conservatively adjusted their forecasts, leaving them at 1.7p EPS this year and going for 1.9p EPS next year. They also see SDI having a £1.1m cash pile at the end of this year, rising to £1.7m at Apr'18. This perhaps gives room for a further acquisition from part-cash, part-debt/fundraising. SDI still looks pretty cheap at the current price on that basis, particularly as we now know that H1 trading is in line with expectations.

Looks like there's still no stock around given the rise on small buy trades again. In Cantor Fitzgerald's April'16 note on GMAA they lifted their EPS forecasts slightly based on adjusting their £/$ conversion rate to $1.45 from $1.50. So overall it seems that there is a currency benefit on translation. The current £/$ rate of around $1.25 or so should result in a decent benefit to GMAA this year and next year.

It's also worth noting that today's RNS says that "current trading of the Company is in line with expectations" for H1 to 31/10/16, which is encouraging. This year's forecast was already for 1.7p EPS - will this be increased following the acquisition?

Astles looks a very good acquisition - and at an excellent price. £3.45m initial consideration and £4.8m on achievement of targets, compared to historic £0.87m PBT - that's extremely cheap. Especially if it achieves the £1.2m PBT necessary for the earn-out. Plus there are synergies and the likelihood of additional Sentek sales to Astles, which is already a Sentek customer The placing price is at too much of a discount, but I'd guess this was all done in a hurry pre-Christmas and the institution wanted their pound of flesh. Overall this looks a terrific bulking-up and heavily earnings-enhancing acquisition.

Online I can still buy a maximum of just 500 shares at 125p, whilst I can sell loads at 121p - a premium to the mid-price, let alone the 115p bid price. At some point a big recovery is going to happen here imho.
