Finncap say those upgrades are "conservative". Certainly FNX are rather undervalued against their peers given the relatively low P/E and the very high dividend yield of around 4%.

I like FNX's extremely understated methods. They seem to like to underpromise and then overdeliver, even though they have a number of avenues for growth.

It's only halfway through the year, yet FNX are already able to say that trading for the year to 30th June will be "comfortably ahead" of expectations. That's pretty bullish stuff.

In particular, the number of customers is up 10%. All segments of the business are growing.

Terrific results ahead of expectations, and excellent prospects.

The adjusted 7.2p EPS (per Note 13) is hugely ahead of Shore Capital's 6.4p forecast.

The £16.5m net cash is also ahead of forecasts, and is around 9% of the m/cap in itself.

And this was achieved in a period when Covid restrictions were still in place......

73% of 2022 revenues are already in place - and the order book is up almost 50% year on year to £527m.

Great stuff.

WH Ireland's new note today leaves forecasts for 2022 unchanged at this stage, being £1.3m EBITDA, £0.5m PAT and 5.5p EPS.

They don't state where they expect the current £2.5m cash pile to be at the end of this year, other than to note that this represents 35% of the total m/cap, and that the EV/EBITDA ratio is just 3.5....

The sell-off is partly down to me, apologies! Had a look at the BDI now down massively to around its levels of a year ago. Knowing BMS' volatility and often illiquidity I decided to sell and take profits in case the market adjusted before me, particularly in these rotten markets.

Good luck all. I'm sure the trading update in mid-March will be good, but it's a while until then and there may be another buying opportunity before that.
