Oggs I agree I am thinking the same. It is easy to be euphoric and forget the hard times and lows of 3p. Never be frightened to take a profit I was told. Although I only see this going up from here its a question of is the pain worse having something and seeing it slide than cashing in on some and regretting you didn't hold. After all at the moment it is only paper profits. I am delighted we are in this position but is greed good?

Rob I would if I had 100000 too as I am not the fountain of all knowledge. There are far more experienced investors than me and I have gained much from some on here.

I have like most hopefully now on here made it into the blue after years of waiting. I am curious to know and I have googled for help re stop losses.I know it is unlikely that we will need them for some time but is there a strategy anyone uses for them. I have in excess of 600000 shares now which is not insignificant and I am concerned if I put it too high they will be hoovered up by Hargreaves and Landsdown on a shake. Any guidance would be appreciated.

Ok thanks for that. Just one more question. If I were to transfer shares in AFC which are in a normal Hargreaves Fund and share account not in an ISA wrapper can I transfer across at this juncture without CGT even if I have made a gain on them?

So what I have read below is there is no capital gains tax to pay if you have held shares in this instance in AFC for 2 continuous years? Irrespective if they are in an ISA or not? I have looked on google and can't find this. It will be something that affects many on here so it is relevant.
