CDF, agreed 😃 although I think they could improve comms a bit, like sharing news about recent / upcoming meeting etc. not talking necessarily about market sensitive info. Plenty going on behind the scenes so there must be some details they can share!

Considering the catalysts that are due this quarter, I’d be surprised if the MCAP doesn’t reflect the progress before April.

Just seems a bit strange that they accelerate negotiations / talks and then postpone the conference. Why would they postpone it if nothing significant has changed? Hopefully it’s postponed for good reason.

The good thing is, negotiations are now accelerated. 🤞we get some positive news from it.

Also have several other potential catalysts we are expecting to hear updates on before the end of Q4.

Noticed you both invested in UPL last week.

Nearly did the same as seems like they’ve got upcoming catalysts like BOIL.

New Ventures

Baron continues to pursue additional new venture opportunities, to enhance and complement the existing portfolio. In particular, we await the outcome of the UK 33rd Round of Licensing where we participated in a licence application as a non-operating partner. The NSTA has recently indicated that any offer would be made before the end of 2023.

Baron entered the latest North Sea bid round, so we’ll probably hear updates on that at some point.

Why hasn’t it? You don’t know the reason it’s been pushed back. It could be for positive reasons.

What makes you think they lied Ian? They have been pretty clear that further updates will be given in Q4.

Tbf to them, they may have shared all the details they can up until now (NDA’s). We’re expecting news at some point this quarter, so it’s just a waiting game. The bod will release news as soon as they can, as mentioned in the previous RNS.

Just remember, good things come to those who wait 💰🤑

Maybe I misunderstood the last RNS 😣 I thought that was for Chuditch-2 appraisal well.

The RNS on 25th September stated:

"All of our efforts are currently focused on the Chuditch PSC drilling decision to be made late in 2023 for a Chuditch-1 appraisal well. We are making good progress and are in advanced discussions with a number of potential funding partners. We look forward to updating shareholders as soon as we are able."
