Tom, agree with you about them holding shares,quick to point out other people's losses if any but continue to lose themselves, and some on here say they have high powered jobs but spend all day posting, myself I am retired so have the time but when employed only had the time to read now and then ! Now we are a dating site with bash loving tippy it's all a laugh after all and not worth taking them serious on their predictions.

Tom. The markets may be up but there are plenty of shares down it's up because of oil price rise, easy jet, glaxo and building shares are down. So it is having an effect on shares ! The way they are talking on this board is ITV is going to keep on dropping, but they still seem to hold on to their losses and amass more along the way . ITV have been in the same price range since ex dividend and will stay that way or start to rise. Don't ask why I say that because I will answer why do you say they will drop, the only fact you put is against McCall and we don't know what she has in store ?

If they only watch Netflix? Theh must get fed up looking for programs to watch. No news no local news no weather forecast no sport could go on and on not to mention BBC news and sport..

Why do you presume that they will slide further? The market can drag shares either way and it can help with a buy. Just because your shares are down does not mean there is not a profit in them for others.

Dollar having an effect and oil price drop.only thing is EZJ rise BP fall. Still all in all a small rise on most of my other shares glaxo legal and general.and standard life small drop on tw and itv.

Markets seem to get over bad news fast, like north Korea at its bleakest. So hope for a recovery if bad news in the next two weeks. Posters on here seem to think it's all doom and gloom for itv without any facts and figures ! So lets hope it's the opposite of their hopes ,I don't buy into all this Netflix and pinching advertising revenue they are predicting what will happen after the world cup and royal wedding ! If the SP goes down they will post like made saying i told you so, if it rises they will also try to take the credit by saying how great McCall is .

Tom,Shares being held back by trumps statement on Iran apparently to be made when the market is closed affecting oil prices and the pound /dollar. Would have been a good day on the markets except for this announcement yesterday pushing back the dow at close , see what happens when it opens in ten minutes ?

If you thought the crown was good it was slow and wooden and not factual just cobbled together from rumours and newspapers articles from the time don't think the Queen in anyway stood up to her prime ministers and told them what to do its all in private and never spoken off as entertainment it was far to long. And another series to come,good work for the actors involved but that's about all . And paid for by subscription and not advertisements.

Tried Netflix for a month free. Most box sets like the crown are also dross. And all the rest is what they have purchased from the BBC and itv and other companies, so it was not for me it's like sky hundreds of channel's and nothing to watch except the football and Netflix don't have that.

Maybe she is a pragmatist? And it will take time for things to turn around not just a few months ! Also the share price is probably stuck in this range after the last ex dividend date sometimes it can take a while to recover and it's done that Its nearly back to pre ex dividend date and any future rise will come along. Noticed shares have dropped on results day and then taken off over the next couple of weeks glaxo is one for example , I will wait and see what happens on Wednesday before making any decisions, I am surprised I am still in but maybe something is telling me not to sell. Tom.its a hard one and nothing to compare it with unlike other companies who have peers to compare with. My feeling is if it's not good news it will tell before the 10tb and if it rises then maybe it's the time to get out a four pence rise Tuesday Wednesday will see me sell. But as usual they will then rise,anyway the low as been around 142p so can't see a 10p drop,and as you have previously said last year showed a recover after results.

That's it before the three day weekend. So not to long before Q1 results. Anybody got any take on them and what do you think the SP price will be come Thursday morning, and who will buy or sell before Wednesday close ? In the end not to bad a week on other shares BP GLAXO and EASY JET .

Know one has mention why the drop on share prices today suggest you check out the dows drop on opening !! Over 380 points down but a bit of a recovery at 18.00pm only down 59 points.see what happens at close, and tomorrow .Bash at least TW was up today.

TW, one of the few shares up today,after another bad start to the Dow,down over three hundred points making it the fifthed day in row the dow has been down. This even after good earning reports, so once the dow starts rising we may see a rise in our markets and shares.

Netflix have 20 billion debt pile and are about to lose Disney content, maybe they can't afford more debt for further acquisition ?
