Tom .Just a note, when I was on the phone to them the person I was talking to kept calling me Mr Barrett needles to say I wish it was!!

Tom got the sell at 171.30p and yes dividend day tomorrow. Still have not got my Barrett dividend from Barclays they had the cheek to tell me it could take ten days. I have put in a complaint if that would do anything ?

Rodez, if your talking about itv this site has it at 2.1 million buys v 2.1 million sells,and even that could be incorrect but not by that much !!

Tom.decided to do the same sold some itv bought tw. Was going for Vodafone but have my full complement of tw now but still have a week after ex to sell tw and go for Vodafone if tw recover fast, but as you know most plans don't seem to fall in place?

Tom I think it's called discussion not advice good luck with your strategy and some thing I have done a few times myself.

Tom with the drop in TW share price and the rise I ITV share price today would it still be the same as 172p if you where to buy and sell today , as you say it's not advice to buy and sell just a point of view !

Market down today so not as bad a drop at the moment, see what affect the inflation figures have on the market at 9-30am !

I reported post to the mods, back to business tomorrow's inflation report is due out at 9.30am so anybody any idea what it will be and what affect if any it will have,with the increase in oil prices can only see a rise but that may take a few months to get in to the system?.

Proves a point when you stop posting on the itv board they follow you over on to this one, so now it is a personal vendetta and the mods need to do something about it, they can add my name to the petition to rid them once and for all.

Sorry bash can't spell it out if I could I would be hedging my buys and sells ! Go one way and you can bet it will go the other way, all I can say is do your research and check what's going on in other markets around the world,and don't be afraid to sell after all you owe nothing to any share or company.

Johnston .Thanks for clearing that up for me thinking of having a punt seeing there is not much else on the horizon at the moment but plenty of time for that decision.

Elsewhere, the latest house price update from Rightmove showed that asking prices for newly marketed properties climbed 0.8% on the month in May to a new record high of £308,075, up from £305,732. However, asking prices in London subsided 0.2% on last year and across the South East as a whole dropped 0.1% - the first fall since 2011.

People on this board dont seem to be able to see the whole picture,and what affect the world markets can have on a share.

Hi Tom sold my legal and general shares to top up here at 195p so at the moment think the price is a little to high for me, keeping a look out at Vodafone at the moment for their divi but may just hold off to see what happens before ex dividend date. But I am a happy man at the moment with all the upward trends, dow futures showing up over 200 points so here's to a good afternoon on the UK market. And may we have a really good week before the bank holiday.

All shares seem to now be pushing up after slow start on China news, can see a lot more upward trend during rest of the day so all in all a good start to the week !
