Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
If you want a good app for RNS releases try VOX markets and add the ticker as a watch... I saw the RNS on this first thing this morning š
Have you had your corporate actions through ii?
Can't sell with trading 212 either
Where have you seen this?
They have the threshold why is the share price still rising?
I have my Zinnwald shares already, is the 67.5p not nailed on?
Have to agree, its ok to put out an rns about new business but every one they do isn't ever backed by the financial gain.
Much as i hate to say it as i'm in at a much higher price than this but this goes under the 'must try harder' banner
Couldn't agree more. Was hoping for a nice update about organic growth instead got an acquisition and a huge dilution of shares and for what? It doesn't even say.....
No need to buy through the placing, this will be 20p by tomorrow...
And to think id managed to get my avg down to 60p....
Words can't express my feelings!!!
I think i just puked in my mouth.....
What an absolute load of horse @#$%
The PIs still buying at this price are either ill-informed or very well informed.
The fact that this announcement has been made prior to the deadline is interesting..... seems like they are trying to incite a bidding war.
Me too.... i can understand why they weren't issuing updates on contract awards now... They couldn't in good faith issues positive updates on contracts when they knew that the revenue was going to be lower....
However, i think what is now clear is that now the news has hit they CAN now start to tell us about the contracts that are being awarded without being irresponsible with the shareholder.
For anyone getting in now, this is still great value for a company that is making profit (albeit, off the targets).
For those who have been in for a while (like me) its a massive kick in the teeth... now sat on a substantial loss and looks like i'll be here for at least another 6 months.
I'd buy more to bring down my average but honestly i can't bring myself to do it... Will just sit in my portfolio now until another update!
Investrip, i understand that. What i was meant was its not meaningless is it. He can't have any insider information yet he has still decided to buy in....
So he's obviously seeing something to make him want to do that.
Thats not correct, he is now listed as a major individual investor, the buy was not linked with the broker itself
I doubled down this morning to get from a low 80's average to a mid 70s...
I did see this as an opportunity and although I decided to do this I am wondering what possible news will suddenly make sentiment change for the long term. Been in Loopup for a year now and the small amount of detail and communication that comes from the board is unbelievably frustrating. The MCAP here is incredibly low and this is simply down to messaging because there are a lot worse companies out there that don't make money and continue to have a strong SP just because they know how to communicate with the PIs.
Intriguing how flat the share price has been. No fluctation for a day, the stated spread is far wider than it actually is.... Sells just below 86, buys just above 86. Sells and buys equalling out.
I'm not really one for the 'breakout' statement but it feels like the more this stays level, the more the average share price of investors rises and at some point buying is to going to start outweighing selling and start to shift the share price upwards.
Given how tempermental the share price has been this is definitely a period of calm!
I was just reading a report on the Nasdaq website and this caught my eye...
'Microsoft Corporation MSFT is well-poised to benefit from robust adoption of Azure cloud platform and Office 365 applications, which it has rebranded as Microsoft 365 with added capabilities.
Moreover, coronavirus-led digital transformation, work-from-home, online learning wave and tele healthcare trends drove the uptake of Teams, which has daily active user base of 60 million on mobile alone, as noted by management in second-quarter fiscal 2021 earnings call.
Moreover, it is worth mentioning that out of Fortune 100 companies, 93 have implemented Microsoft Teams. This provides the leading software provider with a competitive edge against Slack WORK and Zoom Video ZM.'
Hopefully loopup can take advantage of this competitive edge to push its own agenda. You would think that Zoom with all the media hype when covid hit, would have more market share of the fortune 100 companies but Microsoft is eating this area. This is where loopup will target as well as premium service over cost will be the important differntiator here with these companies. Plus fully global integration and approval with the telcom industries will only serve to further this edge over the likes of Zoom etc.
I'd be happy if it keeps ticking up like this...
Allows the buyers and sellers to counteract each other so raises us the population averages...
If it flies up too quick then people will sell on a profit and the PIs that just bought get spooked and sell at a loss which just plummets the SP again.
This is looking good.
I'm also still in and resisted temptation to sell despite lots of other posters last week saying they were....
Sometimes after the initial burst it just takes a few weeks for other investors to see the full potential. Some people just want a quick buck and when they don't get it they pull out which drags the price back down and it can take a few weeks to see the general uptake of long term investors once the sellers have left the building!
Maybe we'll hear about the bank contract soon as I'm guessing that was who they were talking about in the results.
Let's see if anything gets reported in the next couple of weeks....
I think it will only take another bit of good news for faith to start returning and the shares to start increasing again.
No matter what anyone says about future prospects or how loopup should have achieved more, increasing cash by Ā£9m and reducing debt by Ā£10.8m is a mighty swing......
Integrale... Agree that a buyback to reduce the shares in issue would be good. Either that or just a small divi to start giving some value back to shareholders. They could give a 1p per share divi which at current price would be 1.2% and cost Ā£550k or even double that and it would still only take just over a Ā£1m...
I think if they did something like that then shareholders would be happier to hold rather than get in for the quick buck. A 2.4% divi these days from a growing company would be an interesting proposition to shareholders.
With hardly any debt, it will be interesting to see what they now do with their capital. Either way they need to start providing/showing value to the shareholders.
I'm in long term or at least mid term to see what happens and like you i'm not paying too much attention to the immediate price, just happy that the results have stabilised the position... I can see this slowly moving north.
If this would have been on the NASDAQ we'd have seen rises of 200%, only to crash back down again!
