Not exactly Jimzi - if you own 1% of Orph you will own 0.5% of the new entity (as Orph shareholders in total will only hold about 50% and SEEK the other half) - and (getting back to Swap's original comment) that gives the new entity zero cash to grow / develop. So the new entity may need to issue more shares (or might be able to issue debt)
Well Jimzi - thats 100 million shares is not a good example as CF has stated we will own one share for each share held in Orph
Correct Hartlebury - there are quite a few who can't get the basics of floating a new entity
Jimzi and Moniman come to mind
Correct Hartlebury - there are quite a few who can't get the basics of floating a new entity
Jimzi (i won't engage in personal insults - yet) CF has indicated that Orph shareholders will own one share in the new entity for every share held in Orph (Orph had 669 million shares)
They could also look at Debt funding
Moniman - we don't have to subscribe to anything we just get allocated a share (669 million to Orph shareholders) - I think you are being pathetic if you want to filter us for a technical discussion on the structure of a new entity
I don't think you are looking at this correctly. What is the point of launching a New entity on Nasdaq (or wherever) with no cash in the bank. So, CF has said we will get 1 share for every Orph share which is 669 million (we only own half of Immutex) so Seek would also get about 670 million shares - that still doesn't give the new entity any cash to operate / develop - so additional shares will need to be issued to raise cash
Swapleber is correct in that in that the Spin Off will need to float enough shares to pay us (ad Seek) - say 1 share each for every share held (in the case of Immutex that would be about 1.2 Billion shares) and also the floated entity would also need funds to grow / develop so they may need to sell 2 or 3 Billion shares
Why didn’t the Director wait a few days until the new tax year - would have given him an extra 12 months to pay his CGT?

closing date is Monday
That was my transaction - closing my IG spread betting position and converting it to a share dealing account
Very frustrating that the market doesn't want to let this fly. I don't think that contract manufacturing will bring in a huge margin (per test) but 2m tests per week we should be looking at a big annual profit - £1.50 to £2.00 range should be possible
So do I Markshares - best wishes for a great outcome for us all??
A little stubborn Markshares?? You are looking to save 1 or 2 pence and may miss out on an extra 30p / 40p ++
Will do thanks
Thanks Demon - i also have a SB with Spreadex - do you know any others that offer a position on Orph??
I'm covered 100% margin on my spread bet - the main advantage to holding to the end of the month is tax free status on any further gains / dividends
I've still got quite a large IG spread bet open which needs to be closed by the end of March. Obviously, I am hoping that we have a Dividend (or uplift of some kind) before then
