Agreed, Velocys was far less equipped to stand on its own two feet, had low reserves of cash that could not see it through the troubles of the last 4 years. Saying that, I do remember them losing Shell as a valued partner, as far as I remember, Shell opted to instead partner with someone else, and their departure was very sudden, taking shareholders by surprise. As for your forecasted pipeline to achieve £10 per share, very ambitious for 5 years, good luck.

Despite how Jeff would love to believe that all the views that oppose his come from one single person with multiple accounts, sadly for him that isn't so. I do agree with jzchat that O&G majors really do hold the cards with how and when the green energy transition takes place, and it is still years away. They hold untold lobbying power in governments, hence the UK's funding of 22 billion that assists their ongoing fossil fuel business. Fossil fuels are still by far the cheapest option to a current world in recovery since the last 4 years of major world events. One of which is the ongoing Ukraine war, cost the west a fortune. Green hydrogen is miles away from competing hence why for now, I believe, it is a terrible investment. To people like Jeff, tell us now, honest forecast, how long is long term for you? How long are you willing to wait before ITM generates the returns you are hoping for?

Jeff, the more optimistic you are, the more the price drops. You said you have been bullish for 12 months, yet the company's share price is now almost 40% down in that time, at 5-year lows and 30% lower than the starting price over 20 years ago. Long-term holding working out well for you then? Maybe shut up for a month or so and perhaps your luck will turn.

Desperados, my post clearly only mentions Helikons' short position, the one we are all wanting to close. I am fully aware of the rest. Despite more positions recently closing, the price is down for today, because nobody is buying, despite all your reasons for institutions to buy in, they are not, your desperation is laughable, but understandable.

Hopefully the shorts closing! And finally some actual news to turn things around.

Toneman, it has been a while since such a well-written post has been on this board. I have had similar concerns. There was a hype with green hydrogen, well pumped but as that did not follow through, my feeling is that oil and gas majors could incorporate green hydrogen into their product line but only in a timeline that suits them. The fact that the UK backed oil and gas with £22 billion through CC tech and only £2 billion into green energy solidifies this narrative. I never deny the potential of a greener future, only that at this point in time why invest when a likely return on investment will likely be 5 years away, if ITM manage to achieve a winning position in a highly competitive market. The risks are way too high. Don't try to catch the falling knife, this applies so well now to this stock

Onsolidground, how could you miss one of the most important parts of ITM's updates for next year? A reduction in revenue and increased operating loss. Nobody has a better future outlook for the company than its CEO, who is also a member of the UK Hydrogen Council. So, all of the points you mentioned were taken into account when the forward guidance was announced. ITM is forecasting a loss of £35-40 million next year, worse than the previous financial year. The entire industry is getting slammed, making it un-investable, hence the persistent massive sell-offs. Escalation now in the Ukraine makes things a hell of a lot worse. It may be oversold, but that will not stop it from sinking way further. It's ripe for a takeover, and if that happens, investors will likely get a raw deal.

Aqua12, Jeff literally said it himself why ITM is a bad investment: 'the share price drop is part of the broader market conditions—could be due to Plug Power’s financials, the ongoing war in Ukraine, or geopolitical tensions.' The war is only escalating, with no end in sight for the broader market conditions. ITM's very own financial update clearly forecast reduced revenue and increased operating loss.

Jeff talks of all his facts but when faced with facts that oppose his, then he throws a six-reply tantrum. He makes insults in his comments but then asks that conversations be respectful. He has been saying the company stock is a buy since 2022, but the stock keeps going down. I was also very satisfied to call him out.

Jeff, the 500MW contract is a handshake, and you know it. Otherwise, the markets would react to a contract of that size. I mentioned that the Shell 100MW project was delayed; that was a fact. How is that doom and gloom? You seem to have a very poor understanding of hard facts versus hopeful optimism.

I have never said ITM does not have potential, only that right now they are getting battered and have been ever since their placement three years ago. Nobody is buying ITM stock, Jeff, only selling it. Institutional investment does not want to go anywhere near it. How do you explain that with all the pipeline projections you repeatedly mention, at the peak of ITM's progress, only sell-offs are the result? Delusional.

Troublesome, there is no evidence of a hell, just as there is no evidence that ITM will succeed. For now, there is only hope for the best. So-called 'peak prospects' for the company yet 5-year lows on the stock price. Shareholders are all holding their breath for the 500MW contract that so far is only a handshake, with no ink on the dotted line. Let Jeff be the bringer of hope (for the fools).

Jeff, you've been mentioned as you're posting so frequently, repeating news that we all already know about. (quite insulting if you think I don't read the news). You persistently talk about 'long-term' thinking. ITM went public over 20 years ago, and their stock price is lower than when it started. I think your logic there isn't well applied.

Also, yes, when ITM signs contracts, as a shareholder, I want to know how much money they will make from the deal. Why withhold this information from shareholders? You're invested here simply crossing your fingers, hoping your predictions will come true, yet the reality of the situation is pointing to a different picture.

Aqua, I hear you. People on this thread, like Jeff Mills for example, cannot accept a reality that opposes their hopes and dreams. When rational scrutiny and cause for caution are flagged then often their defence is to respond with childlike personal attacks or ramming the same story, word-for-word, back at you.

For how long and how low does the stock need to go before they finally accept that ITM is not delivering an appealing investment? The only moment ITM becomes worth investing in is when all these possible outlooks for the future actually happen, when those contracts are signed and the money is in the bank. Characters like Jeff believe that all the positives he repeatedly spouts are a done deal already, ludicrous.

What I can’t seem to understand is why ITM do not disclose their revenue generation for the few contracts they have signed. If I am wrong, by all means send me some data on exactly how much ITM have made from the 100MW Shell contract, 200MW RWE, and even recently the 5MW sale, we know what the Neptune electrolysers sell for but is that the amount that was actually billed? Nothing to confirm in the RNS.
