No one who has posted a 'negative' comment because they understand the reality will be buying more shares whilst the CLNs remain at large. More likely to be selling-even at a loss. PS at least HEMO is having a good day.

The negativity is aimed at the BoDs who have agreed a loan arrangement that will inevitably result in a downward spiral of the SP. Conversions are at effectively at 80% of the daily SP. Its a bit like constant placing at a 20% discount. The only hope is that the money raised can result in some spectacular news to move the SP up but until the remaining £7.25m of CLNs have washed through they will keep pulling the SP (and the Mcap) down whilst diluting all our shareholdings. This is not negativity for the sake of it but a reflection of reality.

Depends on the CLN holders. About £1.75m converted so far so £8.25 still to go-I can't see them hanging on 'til maturity but they might hope the sp heads north if there is good news. I was away when the Loan was agreed so I missed the news-I promised myself I wouldn't invest in a company that raises money via a CLN as it usually results in a death spiral. Got caught out again. Not sure whether to stick or bust. Fortunately I did OK with this share in the past but still frustrated to be holding now.

German Bond Yields

The current yield on Germany's 10-year government bond is 2.72% as of August 29, 2025. The UK’s benchmark 10-year yield is the highest among Group-of-Seven nations, trading up six basis points at 4.81% on Tuesday — the highest levels since January. Sorry but we are not in a great place and everyone but Reeves (including Starmer) know this.

GB's long term gilts (not as golden as they used to be) are now about 2% higher than a fixed term mortgage-so a house is a better risk than a country. Thanks Reeves and Co.

The other interesting point is that neither side can take a view on the conditions being met or not. Any failure of a condition means the deal is off-period. I think we now know why the board did not go for Sidara's earlier takeover bid, they knew the state of the company and that once Sid starting looking properly the mess that is Wood the bad news would come out without the DoB being able to manage it.

The asset had a book value of circa £12m so arguably Sids value has now improved by £80+m so their offer should be near to 40p/share than 30. My gut tells me Sid will indicate they can offer more for the company but need more time. Interesting to see who blinks first.

What will the film be called, Carry On Clowning. What will be the next RNS say, an extension to 5.30pm Friday? Even if an offer comes in with the BoDs pointless recommendation it will be ages before the majority owning institutional shareholders make a decision.

Time for the BoDs to show if they are up to the job. WG's t/o is 5 times that of Sidara and despite it's current ails should have a good future. The PUSU gives Sid until 28th July. They shouldn't be allowed to determine the agenda. If they walk away it will affect our share price negatively initially, hopefully those still here can hang on until the recovery strategy becomes effective. If you see Sid-tell 'em.
