Yes I disagree. The performance hasn't been shocking. Anyone who invested a few years ago is up on their money and the overall trend is upwards in the long term with swings in between - as I showed you on the price graph.

They're investing in extremely speculative early-stage tech investments that won't see a gradual linear rise in value. This isn't a FTSE100 stock. It's a small AIM stock and will have its peaks and troughs. They're hoping to get in early on things that go very big......

And so far they've done that very well with one, but had to sell it early due to the laws on cannabis, and it's also looking very good for Factom and Intensity, in particular, with a number of the others also looking very promising, everyone will have their own view.

So yeah I think they're doing pretty well.

Problem is when the scaremongers are as dense as Nelson they have trouble understanding the share and therefore making any sense.

Chilston - no offence but it's fairly annoying when, as usual on AIM shares, if the price falls a bit, everyone comes out with all these baseless "concerns", with zero justification.

Now you may be doing it innocently but you may not be.

It's extremely common for people to invent scare stories and nightmare scenarios when a share price is at the lows simply to get dozy people to sell whilst they buy.

If you're not doing this deliberately, you seriously need to consider that your endless "concerns" about nothing are unhelpful to sentiment, when in fact there's plenty to be positive about right now.

The worst thing about AIM shares is the utter guff that gets posts whenever it's near the short-term lows.

Smaller trades tending to be sells and larger trades buying them up in between.

As mentioned elsewhere - there's some overlap - but ultimately Factom wants companies like this using the Factom protocol. So Sphereon making progress is a very good thing for Factom Inc.

Factom and Sphereon aren't competitors.
Sphereon is exactly the sort of company Factom WANTS to exist.
Factom enables others to do things using the blockchain.
Sphereon is the kind of company Factom enables.

Your comment is a bit like saying "there's nothing to stop HSBC going after VISA customers". To some degree it's true but not really in reality. VISA wants banks like HSBC using them. They're a facilitator. Just like Factom enables other businesses who will use them.

I also pointed out to them publicly that the open offer was a silly idea and instead of being appealing to shareholders it would hamper the price. To be fair they listened and corrected their mistake.

Why are you counting it as 20 days? It could be today, tomorrow, or any other days.
30 September isn't the date for something to necessary happen it's just the LAST date for some of the options to be used.

So, if a serious investor (or VC firm) wanted to invest in Factom then FFWD then doing it via a deal with FFWD would gain you 33% more shares for up to $15m (FFWD's initial $6m plus the $9m option).

That $15m would be worth $20m at whatever the proposed raising price is.

If someone wanted that big stake, FFWD could cash in for a tidy profit. So if someone gave FFWD $17.5m in return for their $6m stake and exercising their $9m option they would get $20m worth of Factom (if FFWD exercised all their options and handed over their shares). A $17.5m investment turning into a $20m one instantly by going via FFWD.

That $17.5m to FFWD would be c$8.5m (£6.5m) in cash ($17.5m-$9m to exercise) to FFWD.

That would be ($8.5-$6m) an immediate $2.5m profit on their $6m investment with option (30%+ profit).

Not as good when I don't mess up one of the numbers and follow on from it but still a tidy profit!
