Carondean, heh yeah, whatever the percentage gain they realised over the OO price, the fact these sales are being mopped up easily and in large volumes is a pretty good sign of strength!

bell_rj - not sure I follow their explanation. If it's an arbitrary number. Surely you'd either see a fixed amount available to buy. Or an amount based on the number of shares you have in that account. From the listing someone posted earlier it didn't seem in proportion to the amount of shares they have or in a ratio that correlated to the number of shares they had. Weird!

Minesinthemine - you could sell those 15p shares now. In fact that's basically what you've just done and a lot more on top. Maybe you'll have done the right thing....however I think the logic that suddenly there'll be a load of shares at 15p to sell is a bit of a falsehood - precisely because a lot of the people who'd sell for 10% could have already done that - like you've effectively just done yourself (and more)! ;)

My concern would be....if you're doing this.....and others have done the same thing.....that's a lot of selling that's already happened and the price has risen easily absorbing those shares......when you all come to buy back.......where's the selling going to come from!?

It's closer to him slagging off the CEO of his employer for accepting a deal that keeps all of their jobs safe, all of the investors in their employer with a good chance of a very good reward, and not letting it go bust because it couldn't get the money to proceed further........

Personally I'm of the view there's a small chunk of people who have simply looked at the 15p OO and sold gambling it will fall back, and are therefore pushing this viewpoint, hoping to get more to follow suit, and help make it happen. I imagine it's already gone far from how they expected.
People who blame everything on manipulation/manufacturing of the share price are usually the niave ones imo. They're just not considering the bigger picture.
That's not to say it never happens - but the bigger the share the more unlikely it is or difficult to sustain.
What happened prior to ST2 may well be in your head.

$2.4=£1.84, and $3 = £2.3
So 184p per share or 230p per share on your calculations.......

Rosewall if that made any sense people would just have sold now with the shares they already have. Besides, they'd have a job "manufacturing" this rise with the volume of trading, it'd be an extremely costly thing to do, and there's no need, they really don't need the cash of a few extra PIs subscribing for some extra shares at the lows to make things happen.

Dan - squeeze all they can from the company to get the financing packages already announced, then buy all they can off the PI's on-market, pulling up the drawbridge behind them ;)

Because the open offer is only for a tiny proportion of shares in the grand scheme of things, and therefore an irrelevance in comparison to those who want in, now that the financing is probably sorted. Many of us, whether PI or large institution, wouldn't have touched this until funding looked like more of a reality as it does now.

I wouldn't worry too much about the trade feeds.
If you look at them for long enough you'll know that they're a work of art in smoke and mirrors, delayed trades, cancelled trades, corrected ones, etc.
Trying to read too much into them is a fools errand ;)

That's just because LSE prices aren't live (as Roobans says). It may also because not all market makers join the order book at the same time (not currently bothering to pay for L2 so can't say for this) but you'll often see the bid/ask spread narrow as it comes closer to opening time and more MMs join the book. I've even seen some join after the opening bell (lazy? :p).

ADVFN - I barely use because it's more full of b*llshitters and scammers than LSE which at least has some moderators (even if it takes a lot before they remove some of the multi-IDs).

Would be interesting to know what logic A J Bell are going on.....because the numbers aren't even proportional across his two accounts. One has about 8x excess the other 18x the amount as excess.

Not really sure I completely understand your message - but yes it was near enough available on the open market briefly.
Although not really hindsight though, as nobody could say I've not been consistent in what I've been saying, since I bought in at these recent lows. Money is/was where mouth is/was ;)
