You can't really get any higher profile in America than a Superbowl winning advocating it as pain relief.

FFWD's stake in Vemo is tiny now (about $175k using the same valuation as the recent sale there) and whether it rocketed or went bust it's not going to have a massive impact on the SP.

The only ones with with meaningful stakes, valued at nearly £1m or more, are Leap, Factom, Emmac, Intensity, Juvenescence, Vogogo, Yooya (in order of value based on the company's own figures).

I disagree the recent seller is simply people "utterly fed up with FFWD and chucked the towel in".
If that was correct I think you'd be seeing a lot more trades that aren't big round-numbered blocks as PI trades tend to be mostly.

As stated previously, I think it's much more likely to be non-PI trading, and my gamble (hence my buy) is that it will come to a conclusion at some point in the near future. I could be wrong but that's my view.

There's not nobody buying. There have been a decent amount of buys in the past week and I've also bought although not directly.
It's simply the case there's been a seller, doing it in regular chunks, once they stop, the same level of buying should push this up nicely. They could have finished today, could finish tomorrow morning, the next day, or whenever. Only they (or their broker) will know. Can't go on forever (unless it was naked shorting which I'd seriously doubt at these prices as it'd be pretty nuts).

I wouldn't rely on this (or any) government for anything.
This lot of MPs are probably our worst in history!
There's probably less than 50 decent ones in the entire house and hardly very few of them are even in the two main parties.
This current lot would probably sell it to the Chinese for 20 quid whilst they reap all the profit! ;)

Don't let facts get in the way of a good "I know lots of secret stuff you all don't know" story from the usual two.

There could be many reasons for a seller (everything from someone's died, to someone needing to pay for a hospital bill, to some dodgy fecker trying to hammer a smallcap down dumping shares then open a large spread on it going up - not that it's legal....but anyway, to sometimes happening around corporate transactions, and probably a bazillion other reasons).
The rise isn't because of the sells, the fall is due to the sells, the rise is because when the selling finishes the buying can then outweigh the selling, and the MMs will have restocked their coffers with lots of nice cheap shares, and can benefit from a rising price, with no big seller, in the same way any buyer benefits, but also making their cut from the spread too.

chilston - it's been going on for many days/weeks. My punt is that it's nearly done (hence my buy). Bid has just ticked up. Will be interesting to see what happens if we get some decent buying now and find out whether they're done or not.

I don't have L2 anymore but my guess would be a different MM on the bid and ask.
Regardless, the one on the ask is probably the one dumping in big blocks, and once you see them finish and feck off (for more than a moment) I think you'll see a bounce.

I rarely have a specific target and don't again in this instance J2300.
Especially in this instance, as it's impossible to know the scale of value that might come from one of the investments going well, just going to be a case of playing it by ear.
Also value is relative, if I was on a small profit I might decide to put it elsewhere, if I saw more value there, even if I still saw value here.
I'm sure you've had various PIs sell out too - that's natural - but PIs are easy come, easy go, and easy come again (although never quite so easy the next time).
I regularly buy into things when it's quiet and nobody's investing, or into things that are at their lows and lots of people have sold out (and/or are grumpy). PIs having sold is nothing to worry about (generally) and in fact you're generally better off buying then rather than when the share is busy, the price is high, and everyone's happy.

I saw the mistake RNS - I think you're misunderstanding it chilston and it's simply an error (copying an old RNS) and doesn't identify the current distressed seller (if there is one).
Stagnation no doubt accounts for some selling but it's my view you've probably just got a larger seller who's resulted in the balance of buys versus stagnation not being in favour of buys. Once they stop I think you'll see a bounce as I say. I could be wrong but that's my bet.
