If someone offered us £50m for it this afternoon, I'm sure the BoD would sign immediately, and put out an excited RNS in the morning (OK maybe not that quick....bit of duedil etc....and for maybe not that amount.....but you get the idea).

I don't think it's the sort of thing you would expect a big public lead-up to.....so it's unfair to ask him to back up the hope it might be sold at some point soon........because he's right, it MIGHT.

I wouldn't go as far as "massively concerned" personally.......whilst my opinions on everything else are clear ;)

They could however do a lot more to act in shareholders interests and show little evidence of taking their duties in that regard (or shareholders) seriously (hence it's not just you - in answer to your final sentence Longlad).

doggo - I care about as much what you think as I do what Jim wants. You seem to be in love with him. Every investor is in for a "trade". It's just a question of timescale. Having first taken a punt over a year ago I'm hardly particularly short term.
Whilst you're in love with Jim Mellon, you might want to stick around invested in this till you're 200, whilst taking some Juvenescence medication if it works, but the vast majority of people, who aren't JM's lapdog, probably want to see a sensible return in a sensible timeframe.

Personally I don't give a feck what Jim is interested in (most likely himself and his mates).
Thankfully he's no longer on the BoD.
I'm interested in what's best for the long-suffering shareholders.

Personally I think dividends would just worsen the problem. It's money that leaves the fund.
Buying back shares rewards those who continues to hold, rewards those who wish to take profit as it will undoubtedly increase the share price, and doesn't lead to a sudden drop in the value of the fund, and exit of shareholders.
I will continue talking to a brick wall (FFWD) making the case to start doing this as a way to return shareholder value.

Should be a better day on the markets......with Boris being shown up as a the clown that he is (to the few dozy MPs who still hadn't realised) and power starting to be taken away from him.

So we're all agreed.....there's been no exciting exposure or news. Good. I can go back to reading about the giant clusterf*ck happening in Westminster right now.

I've seen no news or exposure, and nor have probably 99.9999% of people, so that probably explains it.

I don't mind dull.

My biggest winners have often been very dull for a fair while.....before they exploded multiples.
My biggest losers have often been the very popular and volatile ones which often means a lot of hype propping it up and people continually trying to trade in and out (though obviously I try to avoid those these days!).

I think there's a lot of money that's sitting on sidelines (or elsewhere) currently due to the Brexit mess (and wider world stuff like Trump's game). If they avoid a no-deal Brexit I think there could be some nice gains all round as people can stop worrying about the uncertainty and move back to finding bargains.

Shows how awake I am. Genuinely don't believe my brain starts working properly until about midday ;)
Let's take it as a positive maybe they're feeling the exhaustion from lack of trading down here and might want it to go back up the other way to encourage some trading :p

Probably just sneakily moving the bid down a fraction of a penny so that the next buys that come in are more likely to appear as sells.
