Wasn't planning to change my position here, and was planning to buy more stuff elsewhere, but 6.42p is too good to pass up. So some more added to the pot for me.

ODONNELL - I don't think anyone is saying it's worthless or a failure. You always leap to the most negative case!

I'm also not sure you understand the difference between Factom and Factom Inc. It really shouldn't be up to us to explain everything to you (especially when it's a large part of what you've invested in!). Trials for American government departments don't mean it's widespread in US domestic infrastructure either....because it isn't. They're simply good signs that the technology is being taken seriously and considered for usage in the future potentially.

The Factom technology has huge potential, but it doesn't mean that the company which started it, has yet secured massive amounts of business for itself. I don't want to make a comparison with Tesla because it might get taken the wrong way but you could see this as similar, in the sense of lots of the Tesla technology was released to the world for free, and you can equate Factom to that loosely, but it's up to Tesla to make money using the electric car tech developed by them, but anyone can now use.

The principle for them was releasing the technology to everyone for free would build a critical mass that got the industry going of which they could make money from being a part of (small or not).

In the same way you could view Factom.....in the sense that everyone can use the technology.....and Factom Inc will have their own solutions based on Factom technology....but others could also do the same. You would hope that Factom with their deep knowledge having been there from the start would be in a good position to secure significant business if it takes off.

I think the other thing to say would be to say that if/when Factom raise money.....we do get the stock at a significant discount.

So, even if FFWD weren't confident in Factom then, and regardless of the raising price, FFWD could just offer to sell their shares to someone for 10% cheaper than the fundraising price, and still turn a profit (as they'll be getting them at a 25% discount).

So if Lorne can help them during this next stage, at least enough to get them funding anyway (regardless of future success), then FFWD should be able to exit at a profit.

That's the only real negative in there but (as mentioned earlier) I'm not convinced it's that much of a negative and more statement of the obvious.....in that Factom has been a slow build and hasn't yet set the world on fire.

I imagine much of Lorne's key battle is probably trying to push them to focus more on pushing themselves commercially, and focus less on the Factom protocol, as I'll bet the natural instinct for the techies/visionaries is/was to focus on the principle and underlying protocol, rather than selling things built on it to business.

I do think there are signs that they are starting to gradually get moving on that front, with their website improving and looking more credible as the website of a solutions provider rather than protocol founder, and customers starting to be listed.

It's basically just a variation of the same standard caveat you'll find on almost every listed company saying they might issue shares if they feel the need (whether a tiny amount to pay a bill or a larger amount to fund an investment they think is worth it).

To be honest I'm surprised the report would change anyone's view on anything.

The only real negative would be Factom and I can't help feeling it's a bit Steve Wozniak / Steve Jobs. Reckon Factom are the nerds that love their tech, are obsessed with it, and Abony's trying to be the Steve Jobs person, convincing them to be a bit more commercial, in order to realise their potential.

The report is surprisingly candid. Got to give Lorne credit for that.

Yeah - just good (if correct) to confirm the value well above this level (even if historic and expected).
Good that the Regent Pacific (Yooya) deal didn't go ahead too by the look of that (having just Googled them)!
The things you mention though will be where the real dough is made.
On a positive note regarding EMMAC, whilst some of the FFWD businesses might be longer-term plays, there's no room for slow burners (to continue the puns) in the cannabis-derived products market, and it's a race to market(s) by many companies in many regions. So, whilst we can all see the steps/acquisitions/research deals/etc they're doing to become a leading player, they can't/won't wait forever to go full steam ahead commercially, because someone else inevitably will.
It's hard to not see that one delivering clear value in the short (as well as medium/long term).

Well, if that's correct, that's pretty damn close to my prediction from a few months ago of 11.95 - 12p.
Almost exactly as expected within a reasonable margin of error.
So current price of about 7p per share for a company worth about 12p per share (as of last accounts).

Sadly it looks like I probably should really have not replied to that scumbag doggo who was trying to scaremonger some sellers just to annoy me.....as my buy order is still sitting there untouched and looks like the buy price is rising now :/ (despite the fact there was at least one sell below that price, that the broker's have clearly taken for themselves, and not offered their client the best price :p)

The best advice any new person could ever get is to never read a single post from doggo the deceptive cretin.

Even without reading the garbage he posts, all they need to do is look at his record of 100% posts on this messageboard, trying to promote the stock, to know he's talking ****e.

I say 100%, it's now fractionally under as, when he gets upset, he takes to posting on the only other stock he can see I hold (from my post history), and tries to scaremonger, because he is that kind of filth.

The irony is the moron is trying to promote this stock and yet all he does is put people off a stock that is quite undervalued despite the BoD's best efforts.

Factom isn't old hat it's as interesting as ever.
The results aren't late (they're just a bit later than they usually are).
There aren't 95% sales - you just don't understand the trade feeds - as we've tried to explain to you before but you clearly don't pay any attention or are playing dumb.
We're not all niggling at each other. Everyone gets on fine apart from doggo trying to pretend he's a genius and insult everyone else.
