Thanks, jive.
So we have:
AVA6000 in trial (for wellover a year to date)
AVA3996 in probably less than a year from now subject to the above
LG Chem three months into affimer IND studies
Affyxell looking to progress affimer linked MSC therapies
(Would either of the last two take as long?)
We also don't know where Point are with their progress.
There are perhaps others.
In addition to the above we know that the Diagnostics is being planned for "global reach" following the current acquisition.
I think that makes the current sp pathetically low and the 95p (small) additional offer to existing holders a no brainer.

PS Bus Company update due no doubt.
... any Avacta related news today (I can't find any either) I thought the board might appreciate the coming week's rota for Chancellor of The Exchequer:
Friday Jeremy Hunt
Saturday Mr Blobby
Sunday Sam Allardyce
Monday The Chuckle Brothers
Tuesday Tommy Cooper
Wednesday Basil Brush
Thursday to be confirmed after Strictly Come Dancing results tomorrow
Over.
...
Helium was up, feathers were down. Paper was stationary. Fluorescent tubing was dimmed in light trading. Knives were up sharply. Pencils lost a few points. Hiking equipment was trailing. Elevators rose, while escalators continued their slow decline. Weights were up in heavy trading.
Mining equipment hit rock bottom. Diapers remained unchanged. The market for raisins dried up. Balloon prices were inflated. And toilet paper touched a new bottom.
Over.
... Avacta is now a company with:
1) A diagnostics arm that makes money
(The raise to pay for the distribution aspect of this has also funded the therapeutics side of the business beyond its initial clinical trial).
2) A therapeutics arm that is at the end of the first phase of trialling its first prodrug.
All in all, a fully funded therapeutics and diagnostics business that is making money and likely to make far more going forward.
Not a bad day for those that understand and follow the company.
A very bad day for those that clearly don't.

... is pleased to announce that it has purchased "The Shetland Bus Company" as part of a strategic mergers and acquisitions growth strategy.
The Bus Company sees a significant opportunity in national travel over the coming months and can base The Muppet Bus in Shetland generating fuel cost savings for trips to Loch Ness and the associated attractions in that area.
Funding has been achieved by the existing drivers of both companies pooling their tips and becoming joint owners of the companies.
The Bus Company expects to continue this approach and will keep the discussion board updated appropriately.
As part of this deal, gmcc has been awarded an undisclosed percentage of the company as a reward for his contributions over recent months.

... has a number of new buses available for booking:
1) The "Let's have an argument on a bulletin board" bus.
2) The "Let's raise money at 80p when we are very close to positive data and could raise at a much higher price" bus.
3) The "I didn't read the accounts before posting" bus.
4) The "I haven't posted here for a while but ..." bus.
Still running, we have:
A) The Affyxell bus
B) The LG Chem bus
C) The Data bus
D) The maybe biopsy bus
E) The left field LFT bus
F) The Point bus
(The free and very full "Muppet bus", which got lost in Scotland and which gmcc used his Scottish bus pass to find, is still running. Hope it doesn't get lost again this week as gmcc is deservedly sunning himself elsewhere.)
I remain on The Affyxell bus but may hop on The Data bus shortly.

Last I read, MB53, was that we had supplied elected affimers to Moderna and that they would need to submit an IND to the FDA if they were progressing with that particular target.
No doubt they got involved with vaccines so perhaps still a possibility.
All the best.

Thanks, Mr A.
This is how familiar LG Chem are with the process:

Happy that we have different view points, jive.
For what it's worth, I believe that AVA6000 is about testing a drug delivery method, so it doesn't make sense to start the second one ahead of a positive outcome/likely positive outcome on the first one.
The LG Chem link up is about affimers, which is something completely different.
As I said, happy to have different view points as I believe we both want success for both things.

.... from the LG Chem RNS on the 30th June that IND enabling studies are to commence for PD L1 and the XT half life.
Does anyone know how long an IND enabling study takes?
I do understand that a review of initial studies takes thirty days but just wondered about the above/what might be involved and can't find that.
Thank you to anyone that might actually know.

You might have thought, with AVA6000 cohort four that close to completion, we might have seen the sp going up, or is that just me?
It would appear that some see it the other way, at least for today.
I guess the choices are fairly clear:
Sell if you don't think the data is positive.
Hold if you are not sure/ can't currently buy.
Buy if you believe the data will be positive/have the funds at what would be classed as a low price.
There are, of course, other potential items of interest but no doubt the current focus is on AVA6000.
My view is Onwards Avacta.
