Seance. The models we saw on Friday are around the £100,000 mark somewhere. The 40 you want will be available for delivery in June, but better get your order in quickly if you want to be in the first batch.

Seriously, it must take a bit of time to arrange funding and sign off on £100,000 and if even limited planning permission is needed people may want to get that sorted before committing to signing anything (although a contract could be subject to planning permission I suppose). I don't think contracts will be instant even if customers are very keen.

That is an interesting comparison Mucksy.
I just looked and domestic solar panels produce 3-4 Kw for 20-30 m2 of roof space.
So if there is 12 hours/ day of sunshine it would take 200 to 300 m2 of solar panel to compare with the current 20 Kw AFC system.
There may be better figures, but that looks like a lot of space for two charge points.

Hmm.. this is interesting.
Suppose they are stacking up their valuable frozen and chilled Christmas stock and perhaps want to protect it.
Would be interesting to know if this is cos they have building work planned and will need to be switching off the power for that.
If they just can't trust their local grid it would be very telling..

The BOC Hymera does look great, but it is only 175 W/hour of power.
They show it in a cute trolley with one generator and trolley per floodlight.
It looks similar in size to our (S) fuel cell which is 10 KW/hour.

Thinking back over the last few weeks.
We have had low newsflow when the sp was priced for possible failure then mindblowing update putting AFC in a great position.
The sp rise and volume has been massive. Some people were sitting on 100s of % paper profit and fair doos to them for taking it (perhaps I should learn). It has also attracted traders++.
After a price rise from 5 to 27 we should have expected fluctuations.
A standard traders expectation is a 50% retrace, which we have just seen.
The herd behaviour on this expectation often drive it to happen.

Hopefully we have got our 50% retrace out of the way and we can get on with a proper valuation of what AFC have. £75 million MCap is (in my view) very cheap for where AFC are.

Trades in Germany since the UK close have continued to rise neatly along the upward trend support line. Hoping today was a well needed consolidation and the upward trend will continue tomorrow.

The enormous potential of all this is still sinking in.

The membrane alone could be a £billion+ company maker over a few years, and that is before starting on the suite of fuel cell products. With the new (S) fuel cell still to come and possibly including vehicle applications.
And all this with potential to use cracked ammonia.
There are many places in the world without grid electricity where hydrogen would difficult to access, but ammonia is used as a fertilizer and could be available.

Am thinking this morning that Adam's £7 per share is a real possibility over a few year.
Seeing brokers notes on all this will be very interesting.
Certainly seems like a no brainer of a buy a MCap of £78 million.
ITM and Ceres have MCaps of £320 million and from what I can see the potential of AFC is far greater.
Hoping for more fireworks next week.

Yes, I get what you are saying.
It would work if there were 100 spaces each with a fleet vehicle with it's own space and charge point and they were plugged in at staggered times during a day.
It would not work if it was a supermarket where lots of cars park in the space through the day and want to charge. Then the number of points supplied would be lower. They do say 25-100 depending on use.

If I understand, the fuel cell will power a battery which gives the rapid charge and the 400 KW supply would supply 96 KW to each charge point over a 24 hour period.
If it was say an employee or fleet vehicle car park where the same car is in the space all day and might want to take 40 to 75 KW each for a full charge I think the sums work. They might need to plug them in at different times of day though or the battery would get flat.
I agree it doesn't sound right for a supermarket where lots of cars use the space and want a full charge for an hour each. It does say 25-100 depending on use.

This has been extensively tested on H2 from cracked ammonia with negligible performance degradation versus 99.9% H2

Auxilary equipment -
Ammonia crackers, water electrolyzers, invertors, battery storage, battery management systems, fuel storage are available through AFC from third party suppliers for integration into final product solutions.
So sounds like they will help build systems around the fuel cell, ammonia cracking already/soon, and perhaps even the potential to build an energy balancing system using the fuel cell if asked.

HydroX-Cell (S)
Prime focus of development activities at the moment.
Expected to be
10 KW stack for integration into third party applications as a primary or auxilary power source.
Mega Box configuration, 2MW power density in a 40' container for stationary and off grid power demands.

AlkaMem
Has been independently monitored a successfully appraised by industry leaders against key operational metrics. The market introduction will increase customers choice and we expect to be competitive on price and performance.
AFC is inviting interest from industrial partners and OEMs wishing to licence the AlkaMem with a view to development of new commercial applications.
So sounds like this is ready for action to start!

Well yes, but it is all information that 'good communication with shareholders and the market' should include and has not at the moment. This is why I would claim that John Rennocks share purchase is based on more information than is available to us.
Oh yes, and I think Adam mentioned something about brokers note(s) not too long ago. We could be due one.

Oh, and I forgot..
We are still in the market for selling large scale power systems. Were we developing something in that area?
There was a hint of 'something exciting in the background' at the recent NEC meeting ?
De Nora might want a stake in AFC - they have a history of this and after all their time investment could be possible.
From the Hydrogen Council there was a hint of a connection with a company in Japan.

I am assuming any new information on the website will be released by RNS first. Otherwise it could just get lost.
So we could still have updates on.
Details of the EV charger - power, charge rate, hydrogen purity and volume needed, price per Kwh, price for the unit etc.
Details of 'suite of products' which could included the genset.
Update on where we are in using ammonia as fuel.
Update on MOUs Dunsfold, Australia, others.
Whether we have achieved 4 years was slightly ambiguous - maybe we still await final confirmation and with this possibly update on warranty although this could take a while yet.
Adam Bond said they were putting the EV charger together in the proactive interview - perhaps they have switched it on now.
Or might even be news on orders.
Plus anything unexpected.
There should still be plenty of information to feed us over the next few weeks.

That is, unless they plan to tell potential customers at the open day that AFC cannot share details of the EV charger product with them..
